its very unfair judgement for Sanjay Dutt, sometimes the law does not permit a person to change, this type of punishment will make a person more boisterous. Sanjay has been already undergoing so much trauma in his personal life, he has spent his life in jail
why this now? there are so many rapes, murders, robberiers, etc, what is the law doing for them ?
Is the law /rules for humble people ? Sanjay Dutt does not deserve this long period in jail, definately no!
is the court responsible for his daughter's education, and career ?
Agree that once a upon a time sanjay was a spoilt, person but over a period of time he has changed for good, he has realised his mistakes, allow him to change for better, please live and let him live freely,
This is aandha kanoon ! first take charge or punish the day to day culprits, the tragedies happening in out city of mumbai,
Law/rules/regulations - should be for the real culprits, who acutally are enjoying life.

If someone from your family would have lost their lives in the same blast then you would be the first one to attend the same judgement and saying otherwise....

imprisonment are given to change the attitude of criminal making him civilised, improve his character , sanjay dutt lived for 18 months in jail he improved & proved to be good human being .he i honour the sentence bcos deep is known to judge but i refer two thing 1) keep eye on his improve attitude becoming gentle man ,so period must be reduced as he has been in jail for 18 month s 2) even criminal, prove to be good in jail ,thier prisonment in reduced if it can be cosidered then must be considered no doubt verdict prove is same for all but may it be reduced keeping in mind his attitude after 18 month in jail

You are crazy to see the movie so many times. You have no other occupation? Who pays for you? Your Dad?
Sanjay Dutt was living a Luxurious Life in 1992. Why the hell did he think of keeping an AK-56 and that to of D-Company !!! If he had used his brains a little bit, he would have lead a very Peaceful and Luxurious life alongwith earning atleast 50 -75 crores more then what he has earned till now !!! Isse kehte hain Vinashkaalin Vipreet Buddhi !!!
All are equal behind law. This is the correct treatment for Sanjay Dutt in the jail. He should know the difficulties our poor people are suffering everyday so that he will not indulge in the future.

so do you mean to say that after much difficulty when our agencies are awarded punishment to the guilt, they should also be allowed to go home scot free.

All are equal "BEHIND" Law !!! It should be all are equal in "FRONT" of Law !!!
We talk of REFORMS - reforming the criminals. Sanjay Dutt did do a wrong but he is not a criminal or a terrorist. He has already spent 16 months in jail and suffered mental agony for 12 years waiting for the decision. He along with his family have already been punished enough for this mistake. Now that he is a changed person and doing a lot of good work, where is the need to put him behind bars and wasting his talent. Making him rot in jail would not serve any purpose to the society - Mridula, New Delhi

No wrong? How can you say he did no wrong when he had possessed a AK56 machine gun and worked with one of India's most deadly gangster? And why should reforms start with Sanjay Dutt when there are 1000's of prisoners lying in our jails with no charges filed against. What has Sanjay Dutt done so good for India other than giving Munnabhai a movie hit! He has been given a minimum sentence as per law and he needs to serve it. This will give the right message to our society. Loosing his acting talent for some years is not really a loss to India.

Sir I certainly disaggree with you because he has always said the truth he is in trouble because if you go through the records then you will find out that his own statement had put him into this trouble because his father (LateSunil Dutt) told him to say the truth and this is what you get when saying the truth. And as for the evidence there was no such proof found with the police only a spring that can be related to anything if going to say false.
