Sanju, please do not appeal in supreme court. Spend 5 yrs in jail. Do Yoga & tapashcharya in jail for 5 yrs. Come out as Rishi Sanju and spend next 50 yrs in upbringing Bharat.

You do the same act and same thing happens with you. Why are you upset?? were you upset for those who lost their parents, their syter, their relatives in 1993 Bomb blast?? Man be practical. This person is a notorious and was just doing an acting just to escape the punishment.

I agree with you.... He has learned acting in a hard way. He did not meet his daughter till last year... now he remembers her!!!!
Up to now we have suffered the downside of public people. They had politics on their side and the law could not touch them. It was galling when a tarred presidential candidate could blissfully mouth platitudes and shrug away shameful charges far more serious than those of a spoilt brat, or when a successful politician who had conspired to destroy our most beautiful structure could claim innocense because of the ace up the sleeve.
Sanjay Dutt%u2019s ruthless sentencing is going to give us back our pride in the system. I am sure it will be strengthened to withdraw from the politicians their cloak of immunity for the people will appreciate justice. A good man must suffer because he did wrong. It is necessary for social cleansing. Politicians too must submit to high standards of justice so that our society may live.
There is meaning in Sanjay Dutt's going to jail. But he will not remain there long for nobody wishes it to be so. And the longer he is in the more difficult it shall be to conduct dirty politics.
I thank Sanjay Dutt and Justice Kode for setting us free.

harsh by what standard. This is a very fair trail. Judge rightfully relieved him from Terrorism related charges. Sanjay possessed a AK56 rifle, and a pistol and related ammunitions. He also instigated 3 of his friends to help him destroy those weapons. There are 2 crimes committed. Possessing weapon. Influencing others to take part in the crime. The judgement is perfect and fair.
Now he has chance to appeal to supreme court. He can't remission for his good conduct during jailed term. Using his influence, he can gain access to all the benefits.

If he did no harm to anybody,if he did not use that weapon to actually kill anybody, then the punishment is too harsh. May be 1 or 2 years RI, but not six years. Look at haram kors like Lallu Prasad Yadav and "Amaaaa" Jayalithaaaaaaa. They have managed to beat the system and stay in power. Munna Bhai deserved better. But I cannot forgive him for his dinner with Dawood Ibrahim.

Life of 2000 dead could have been saved if he had informed police of conspiracy as responsible citizen. His enthusiasm as goon of Dawood Ebrahim prompted moral support to others 93 to do this heinous act. He is dangerous of all,to do it and get away and enjoy life, not even Dawood can do it. release all 93 if he is released. all have families to support,all have realised their mistakes, why have courts and make mockery .....

Hey there is nothing RELIGION to be done with this issue. Wrong is wrong done by whom ever it maybe, it may be Me or You. Please don't bring religion into this issue and don't make this as a religious controversy. Do you think there are no Muslims who died in the bomb-blast? I believe the people died were just common people who always be the victims of these wicked Politicians (Not all, there may be a very few good politicians) who create these kind of controversies for their own benefits. Again i make a point not to make this as a religious controversy.

Yes India has become a terrorist state.Indulgence in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Srilanka, Afghanistan has shown it. terrorist kept in Jail in India via plane to pakistan like Massod and cause headache to Musarraf,attack India parliament to make a million soldiers stand on border of Pakistan,have Indian bred president for Afghanistan,have coup in Nepal and avert it with few marxists,continous turmoil in Srilanka via tamils and getting Haneef back from Australia diplomaticaly without waiting for their country to complete investigation !!! There are millions of Haneef like citizens languishing in jails over years in India but we have never freed them or saved their didnity and honour. surely sanjay dutt can act do overseas mission and become a hero here.

The judge should know that back in 1990s sanjay was known as NARGIS (muslim) son. Sanjay aquired gun to protect his mother and family due to hindu muslim roits. Nargis car was attacked during riots. Having said all that could some one tell kode that in india most people keep unlicensed pistols. Deh! Trying to shine indian court system by ridding on poor film actors. puke! Salman is next!
