Harsh Sentence
by jaswinder gill on Aug 01, 2007 04:29 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

No good can be achived by giving such a harsh sentence tor Mr Dutt, after 14 years, when real criminal roam free. Lot needs to be done to improve indian judiciary system before we can triumphantly claim this as a just decision.

I hope this is the beginning of a new era in Judiciary of India
by shashi vishwanath on Aug 01, 2007 04:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr Sanjay Dutt has been proven to have done mistake. So he needs to serve the sentence. Please don't mix emotions with this. As a person and as an actor, he might great, but law is supreme. But my feelings are with his family. Long live Indian Judiciary !!
Please friends let us take this topic as a matte r of fact. And please don't swear and write controversial statements that might offend other people. Let us keep religions within our heart and in our homes. Whatever religions they were..still mumbai blasts killed the common man.. the same men who worked for common goal... roti, kapda and makaan..... I pay tribute to those innocent lives which were lost because of criminal minds... these guys dont believe in any religion
I hope the remaining suspects are extradited internationally and justice done.
We need these kind of decisions which show that no one is above the law.
I hope soon our corrupt politicians and government officials are prosecuted and put behind bars.

Jai Hind.. Vande Mataram

well i agree that indian judiciary system has done great. But why those sewer things go through next notorius celebrities, Politicians? I wish to see some big politician to be sentenced not the one with face of politician. I pity on sanjay 'cause he is not as "smart" as poiliticians.. i think it will just serve to show an example that indian judiciary system has "lambe haath" but it wont continue..dont expect great things..

Right Decision coz somewhere in his heart Sanjay Dutt also knew that he was guilty
by Yudhisthir Sharma on Aug 01, 2007 04:11 AM  Permalink

This decision is a sort of trendsetter and would act as a deterrent for those who have scant respect for Law in our country.6 Years in Imprisonment is tough and very difficult for Sanjay Dutt but that's how it is.We never think conciuosly about the consequences when we are about to make a mistake but we regret alot later on when we suffer. But one question still remains unanswered and that question should be asked to judge Kode that altough he brought few of them to justice what about the main brain behind all these activities.Who will make sure that unlike all occassions this time people who run this show pay heavily for their activities.I know that Judge Kode would have no answer to this..... But we need to find an answer to this because I feel that it is critical.....

Feels bad
by BR on Aug 01, 2007 04:07 AM  Permalink

Feels bad that Sanju goes to jail. I think he had serious lapse of reasoning in his life with his becoing friends with goondas, for whatever purpose. He had a good family, why he had to resort to drugs and goondas, This tells a lot about hoe he must have grown up, his environment. He is a vulnerable chap, that is all! And sometimes it is these fellows who suffer a lot. Lucky for him that he is a filmstar and has enough money to ride him out of his massive difficulties. If it were any regular common person like us, we would have succumbed to the situation, and been bhagwan ko pyaare in various ways.

Indian media is going the CNN , FOX way, too much spcualting and nonsense reporting. It is better to watch loads of movies.

by Manish Singh on Aug 01, 2007 03:31 AM  Permalink

Right decision by judge Kode but it should not stop here we have to arrest main masterminds as well. Police should provide more evidences in other cases too.We have to make it happen to make India terror and crime free country.
