Some criminals go scot-free in this world of justice!
by AYYAMPALAYAM RAGHAVENDRARAO on Aug 01, 2007 05:59 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Heard of Balakrishna, an actor in the South, shooting two people in his house. The injured bent upon booking him for the attempt to murder.
Later turned hostile. Is Sanjay Dutt not better than him....he just possessed the weapons which is illegal. He did not even harm an ant to everybody's knowledge. Judgments are lopsided. It happens even in a simple office.
For a big fraud committed in a bank, he is reinstated and for a small bribe he has taken, he is dismissed. It is the way of life. If you think of high philosophy, it is "fate" or "destiny" which is very true.

Mr. Rao,

There is no connection between the two cases. Bala Krishna acted against a person or two and it is nothing but a personal rivalry, while Sanjay Dutt's actions are against general public or whole community that has taken lives of innocent people.

Please do not compare the two, there is no nexus.

Wht abt Chiranjeevi, whose son has nearly killed a couple of people due to drunken driving. Also, Chiranjeevi himself is well known to evade crores of taxes, although he makes huge money by selling fans blood. Also, Chiranjeevi's brother Pawan Kalayan who is involved in the bigamy case. All these 3 should also be hanged to death as they are worst than Balakrishna

Sanjay Dutt has no concience! His active participation in destroying evidence, maintaining links with criminals and above all not cooperating with the police are good reasons to send him to the gallows. He has a reprieve in being sentenced for 6 yrs only. As a star, the public expect him to set standards. He has failed the public and has abetted in killing them. Sanjay deserves condemnation. Please do not let hypocracy blind a judgement - a more severe one would have helped deter celebrities from mis-conduct and poor choice of relationships.

You can take only one step at a time... Millions og people and over a million cases... one has come to an end! lets rejoice for that. Salman, Jessica rapists... we have many cases where the culprits have escaped or are let-off. Only when we appreciate the judiciary for the right action they have taken can we motivate them to handle more cases honourably.

Judge too lenient
by George Fernandez on Aug 01, 2007 05:02 AM  Permalink

I like Sunjay Dutt. But he deserves to be punished for his crimes. He should atleast get 20 years as the law tells 10 years for getting illegal weapons, 5 years for trying to destroy evidence and 5 years for influencing others to to do illegal arms trafficing

Poor Sanjay...how he must have hoped it would be true. Probably a bitter truth in the Indian scene; if you have the clout, you can go scott free. But this poor guy, became a scapegoat instead...
