Sanjay Dutt
by mridula bhalla on Aug 01, 2007 10:57 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We talk of REFORMS - reforming the criminals. Sanjay Dutt did do a wrong but he is not a criminal or a terrorist. He has already spent 16 months in jail and suffered mental agony for 12 years waiting for the decision. He along with his family have already been punished enough for this mistake. Now that he is a changed person and doing a lot of good work, where is the need to put him behind bars and wasting his talent. Making him rot in jail would not serve any purpose to the society - Mridula, New Delhi

No wrong? How can you say he did no wrong when he had possessed a AK56 machine gun and worked with one of India's most deadly gangster? And why should reforms start with Sanjay Dutt when there are 1000's of prisoners lying in our jails with no charges filed against. What has Sanjay Dutt done so good for India other than giving Munnabhai a movie hit! He has been given a minimum sentence as per law and he needs to serve it. This will give the right message to our society. Loosing his acting talent for some years is not really a loss to India.

Sir I certainly disaggree with you because he has always said the truth he is in trouble because if you go through the records then you will find out that his own statement had put him into this trouble because his father (LateSunil Dutt) told him to say the truth and this is what you get when saying the truth. And as for the evidence there was no such proof found with the police only a spring that can be related to anything if going to say false.

Example for all other political criminals
by Carti Rengasamy on Aug 01, 2007 10:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The judge has given a severe warning to all other Indians to go in the right direction including our present politicians and ministers who are all indulging in corruption and crimes.

The ministers in the present Central and State Govts. should be screened by anindependent body for their corruption and crimes against the living public and to the nation. Better to screen their day to day activities like wrong doings.

Bollywood
by Raam on Aug 01, 2007 10:49 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Most of the members of Bollywood must be happy about the punishment given to Sanjay but crocodile tears are being shed on channels to fool people. Except some close family friends others must be celebrating the news. For heros and producers of non-sanjay dutt films the news might have come as cool breeze as major competetion is vanished for next 4 years at least. Bollywood is a sick industry. Look deeply in to the eyes of actors and directors who express "shock" about the news of imprisonment. Fun is that even the best actors fail to show their "shock" on the face!!

Raam you are bang on...bollywood is the most corrupt industry in India. All the stars live under constand insecurity. What baffles me most is that whenever there is some crisis in Bollywood the media take opinions from sources such as Mr. Mahesh Butt whose eyebrows travel like an elevator when he voices out his wise ones. Its high time the media stop giving free exposure to publicity hungy Butt and the likes

Come on my dear don't talk rubbish i think you don't know anything about bollywood. Everyone is infact supporting sanjay dutt as he is dear to them. He may be guilty under the eyes of law and he has got due punishment for that and that does not mean that bollywood will stop supporting him. Let me tell you something he is not competing with anyone he is in his own league (he is the 2nd Generation actor). You dont have to show shock on your face to express your support it is in their minds now. Let me tell you one more thing producers want them dearly because he has many projects left uncompleted and has 100 crores riding on him.
My friend i guess you have to read lot of books and i guess you dont like movies and that is why you are talking some rubbish and you are talking something nonsense.

I am agree with you. I love him. Not only good actor. he and his family is good asset of India. They are always help country. I look some educated people writing here something nonsense. They are showing they are educated and knows everything. If I look other way then min 2000 cr. business will stop for this judgment. Its not a small. We are all will be suffer. So I don't support this judgment. Afterall he is not a criminal not a terrorist. If its right judgment then why Fulan Devi get permission for MP. Its realy Joaking judgment.

Ya, Hats off to Mr. Kode to sentence Sanjay Dutt for 6 years & let the masterminds of these blasts (Thackrey & Pawar) remain free men. Hats off to him. Sanjay Dutt should have been hanged, that was what was right for him....."We the people of India" like to ridicule ourselves. The law of a country is made to protect the innocent, stop others from being criminal & punish the wrong doers. I want to ask Justice Kode only one question, Is Sanjay Dutt a real culprit? Is he really a criminial, anti-socialist, a bomber? He is a far better and changed person today, then why this injustice? And "we the people of India" are justifing it. Instead of catching the real people involved, our legal system has got hold of the puppets & Sanjay Dutt has been made a scapegoat. Who from the bollywood is not seen in Dawood's parties, are they all criminal, involved in anti-social activities? Sick, pathetic, degrading.

Noticeing that our courts are following the British path, no change in system, Sanjay has already sufferrred mental agony for a very long time, for a technical fault, that he kept the gun without licence. In U.P.and Bihar, lacs and lacs people are keeping weapens without licence, may not be AK-56 or so, in small towns and villages.

As our indian law has no guts to put dawood behind the bars because of corrupt politicians support.

Law and politics corrupted and only money makers.

The law has done unjustice to Sanjay inspite he has spent 18 months in jail.

What are celebrities & fans doing join the hands by gandhigiri and send the rose to judge and CM . Immediately start dont waste time .
