justice is without any purpose now.

sanjay dutt today is not the same he was 14 yrs of age. at that time, may be he commit offense , he acted immature and behaved like spoilt man, but that was a different age. but in no way he is a terrorist and never did or had any intention to harm any countrymen and atrnish the image of india. but today he is a much changed and transformed person. he is such a gentleman and mature, a very good human being. his family is so good, sunil dutt saheb was a great human being himself. he and his family has given so much to society. by his acting he has entertained and brought cheers and smiles on millions of humans all over every friday. also he indulges in so much charity. so may be he did mistake. but his negative influnece is negligible in front of his grandness, greatness and positivity he is spreading today. he is not equal amongst equal but little more equal. THE PURPOSE OF PUNISHMENT SHOULD BE TO TRANSFORM A BAD HUMAN INTO A GOOD HUMAN, BUT AT THE MOMENT SANJAY DUTT IS ALREADY TRANSFROMED HUMAN, MUCH BETTER HUMAN BEING. The sentence is harsh and without any purpose. he cant be standed in front of others.he should have been punished within 5 yrs of that age. at the moment court has punished a wrong person, a person who dont exist, a great person and a nice human being has been punished who can give much more to the society. its high time judiciary think in a broader perspective.i just wish god grant sanjay and his family strength and courage to stand in this tough situation

The reason for people to say like this is due to delayed justice.

but honourable judge has done ihis duty very carefully. Hats off to him.

I think you are sanjay's best pal, Let me add something he was never a good person,he had drugs problem and then why the hell he need AK 56.

The points you are making that he had transformed in to good human being is not correct, nobody knows what people thinks except the one himself.

I heard such comment when he came out from his drugs addiction as well that he is transformed in to gentleman.

About entertaining , Its his business If he will not perform no body will give him a role

If you remember he told in the court that he is the only bread earner for his family so whatever he is doing is to earn the bread and butter.

If you had lost some one during that bomb blast then you will think 1000 times before writing such thing

He should be punished more severely so that others take a lesson from it.

Though Sanjay Dutt is a changed man now, the punishment is justified because this will act as an impediment towards any other Sanjay Dutt in creating in his juvenile adventure.

I like sanjay dutt but for the reason that he is not the same man anymore is applicable to other guys too. I just hope he comes out strong during this ordeal and hope the other high profile cases like Manu Sharma, Vikas Yadav etc are also put behind bars ASAP.

You are absol right....Look at Jessica Lal case...I think Justice Konde shud better punish the real crooks, not a transformed person...look at Naina Sahni case...NDTV please help once more.He is not at all a culprit, although the process of investigation has made him to be...i am sorry to say...This case shows that the real culprits mastermind genocides, but immatured people get trapped...It is really NO JUSTICE FOR ANY PURPOSE!!!

Judge has an individual he has said this words. It is a open truth that he can appeal to Supreme court against this Verdict. This is a casual statement.

As a judge, he has given a fair verdict.

The real court scene would be very different than what we see in a movie.

and you get out of your blood thirst. Fully agree with Manoj Nair. Sanjay Dutt is innocent of killing anybody. He did a silly thing when he was young - buying a gun for thrill. Now blood thirsty animals like wow aaha and cricket wants to eat the flesh of Sanjay Dutt

Is it justified?
by Sameer Verma on Jul 31, 2007 08:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Keeping at bay the Hindu -Muslim divide in terrorism. Is it justified to spare our politicians, innumerable of whom own and show off their Weapons. Pictures & Videos of Mohd Shahabuddin and Raja Bhaiyya have been published so often but no one seems to have taken a cognizance of the same. Who is gonna punish these blots on the face of Indian Politics?
