Judge showed leniency.
by Vishwanath Khanapurkar on Jul 31, 2007 03:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its very unfair that the honorable Judge is lenient towards Sanjay Dutt. Had a common person been in possession of a weapon like AK 56 he would have attracted a min. prison sentence of 10 - 15 years. In India one should aspire to either be a politician or film personality to get away with anything.

Yes and the common person would have been booked under TADA(max life imprisonment) whereas Mr. Sanju was just charged under Arms act which is more liberal.

Only 6 years for killing 250?
by Chola The Greatest in the Universe on Jul 31, 2007 03:07 PM  Permalink

In India life is so cheap. When everyone involved in the crime gets life-term or death, this guy gets easy verdicts. It insults the overall intelligence of general public who can clearly see forces from Judicial-Political-Media-Underground sections played their cards very well in ensuring this guy gets away cheaply.

I would request you to pray for those brothers and sisters who were lost in that 93 blasts and riots for which your Sanjay is indirectly responsible.I would request you to pray for the victims families and wish them for their betterment rather than crying for this Sanjay...

A judgement work Kudos. Hail Judiciary
by Nikhil Sapre on Jul 31, 2007 03:06 PM  Permalink

Today will go down as a golder day in the history of India's judiciary. Honourable Judge Mr. Kode has shown the offender his place independent of offender's status, political background and popularity of his films.
It will serve as a morale booster to Police department, prosecustion and related government agencies who did a commendable in proving the charges framed against this criminal.
The one who keeps arms unlawfully, talks with Chhota Shakeel and shares dinner with Dawood deserves no mercy.

He was not a part of the bomb blast.... He was present in the dinner party with DON. Why dont you say that he has got more then what he has commited? Any way Judge has done good thing, for him Sanjay was just a person who had done something bad.

But as a fan I will say "PLEASE CONSIDER ONCE AGAIN, HE IS JUST A SPOILED CHILD"
