How you know that? Are you secretary of Sanjay Dutt. For your information Sanjay Dutt and his father very closely they are cheatters. They are fooling you people by acting. Don't get fool Mr Vikas Bakshi. Used your brain before writing anything on this Block. Who keeps the friendship with Dawood... common man or Criminals. What benefit he got by calling them? He must be lying to Court our Judicial Statement. And if wanted gun he should hv taken Licenece.

Mr. Simon, I entirely agree with your saying. No comments you have said it all.
Another thing is Mr. Vikas Bakshi(replied below), who does not seem to understand the consequences of 1993 bomb blast. Atatements given by Raj below also stands true.

WELL SAID Simon Borde , I TOO AGREE WITH U THIS JUDGEMENT HAS PROVED THAT EVEN IF INDIAN COURT OF LAW IS LITTLE LINEINT BUT JUSTICE IS NOT DEPRIVED TO ANY ONE .ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAD LOST THEIR PEOPLE IN THAT BLAST MUST GOT RELIEVED AFTER THIS JUDGEMENT.
Sanjay Dutt should have realised 14 years back. Whats the use regretting now. Back then, he was arrogant, spoilt brat. Well - if Law can punish filmstars, what about Politicians. Its time the politicians - both corrupt and criminals - are sentenced to Very RI. Its a indeed very long list. Perhaps, there must be a special court to try them.
I believe,Sanjay Dutt is being punished less for his crime, but more for the combined effect of Stupidy, badluck and pompousness.Trust me,you cant beat that combination and its always gonna take u down. The guy,who secured an AK56 and few Grenades, not to wage a war,but just the purpose of collection.Dont we macho guys collect things like cars, girls, bikes guns etc..yaa,sanju got AK56s for sole purpose of collection, ofcourse he said self protection in his defence, but what u did expect him to say,ha!Now,its sheer bad luck that the ammunatin that came as a part of assignment carried RDX for the blast also. And somebody later on told police that how some part of those ammunitions went to Sanju baba.Police on their part was just dying to lie their hands on these ear ring wearing, imported car riding, necklace flashing, long haired and hanging with underworld kind of bollystars stars. This tip off came at the sensitive time like post mumbai blast time. And Cops just worked up,went in to a wild frenzy and did booked Sanju under dreaded TADA.We all what know happened after that. This dude is being sent to jail for the possesion of Ak 56,which though illegal,is widely available to people ranging from underworld, naxals, mafia of all sort to politicians, ministers and henchmen, yaa all & sundry of rich & powerful section of society. If u apply the same yardstick judge applied to Sanjay, then we certainly got to renovate our central jails in to french villas. However, its sad but lawful, unfortunate but

unfortunate but exemplirary, emotinal but valid decision on the part Judge Kode to send MunnaBhai to prison.I welcome it,though with a heavy heart.
I think the verdict is a bit too harsh but then again Sanjay is a celebrity hence he can garner such sympathy but who weeps for common man? Only common man thinks about common man hence some of us IIT students started www.indiflight.com to bring air travel to masses. I hope our efforts will bring india closer and will make a difference in life of atleast some people. We are dedicated for common people.
WELL..FROM SOME OF THE POSTS WHICH I HAPPENED TO READ ABOVE , MANY OF THE FELLOW FRIENDS DON'T AGREE WITH THE VERDICT...
OF COURSE, EVERYONE WILL HAVE THEIR OWN OPINION...
SOME OF THEM EVEN HAPPEN TO FEEL VERY SAD AND IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE VERY DISTRESSED...
FEW OF THEM FEEL THAT THE SENTENCE SHOULD HAVE BEEN LESS...
OKAY..ANYWAY COMING TO THE POINT... a] DOES ANYONE OF YOU FEEL SAD FOR THE OTHER VICTIMS WHO HAVE BEEN SENTENCED FOR THE SAME ISSUE...
b] DOES ANYONE FEEL DISTRESSED FOR THE VICTIMS WHO HAVE BEEN SENTENCED FOR SIMILAR CASE BEFORE...IF YOU ARE...I BET YOU ARE A CLOSE FRIEND OR A RELATIVE OF THE VICTIM...
BY THE WAY, 1] DOES ANYONE FEEL SORRY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DIED IN THE BLAST....
2] DOES ANYONE FEEL FOR THE CASUALITIES CAUSED BY THE BLASTS...
3] DOES ANYONE FEEL FOR THE CHILDRENS AND SMALL KIDS WHO LOST THEIR MOM OR DAD OR BOTH OF THEM....
4] DOES ANYONE FEEL FOR THE MOM WHO LOST HER ONLY SON OR DAUGHTER IN THE BLAST...
5] DOES ANYONE FEEL FOR THE WIFE WHO LOST HER HUSBAND WHO WAS THE ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME...
IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE IN ANY OF THE SITUATIONS STATED ABOVE AND MANY MORE TYPICAL CASES,YOU WOULD NOT DEFINITELY FEEL VERY SAD FOR A PERSON WHO WAS INVOLVED IN THE BLAST ISSUE WHICH RESULTED IN THE ABOVE CASES....
AFTER ALL , WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT SANJAY DUTT...WE JUST KNOW HIM TO BE GOOD ACTOR IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN..."DOES ANYONE KNOW HIS OTHER FACE"...MAY BE HE WOULD HAVE BECOME A CHANGED MAN NOW...BUT W

WHAT IS THE USE NOW...CRIME IS CRIME...IN FACT,THERE MIGHT BE THOUSANDS OF CRIME VICTIMS WHO WOULD HAVE CHANGED...BUT IS THE LAW CHANGE FOR THEM?..NO RIGHT...
THE LAW IS COMMON TO EVERY HUMAN BEING....MAY IT BE SANJAY DUTT OR ANY VVIP...THE LAW SHOULD BE THE SAME AND WILL HAVE TO UNDERGO THE SAME RIGOUROUS TORTURES WHICH HAVE BEEN UNDERGONE AND UNDERGOING PRESENTLY BY THE OTHER PEOPLE ACCUSED FOR THE SAME ISSUE...
SO,ACCORDING TO ME,WHAT HAS BEEN GIVEN AS A VERDICT TO MR.SANJAY DUTT FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF ARMS FOR THE 1993 MUMBAI BLASTS IS CORRECT AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE LAW.
ALSO,THERE ARE MANY OTHER PERSONS IN THE SOCIETY JUST LIKE HIM...MAY BE THE PERSON IS FREE TODAY..BUT ONE DAY HE WILL ALSO AND HAS TO SUFFER THE SAME PAIN...
TADA is a special enactment and persons charged under this Act are tried by Spl Court and even in respect of provisions /procedure of law relating to bails/appeal/review etc the accused is dealt in a special way which is more rigorous / strict as compared to such provisions under normal law i.e. Cr P C. Thus , although Dutt is acquitted in TADA but he is still bogged down by the rigorous provisions relating to Appeal from conviction/sentence pronounced by TADA Court. In my view, once an accused (like Dutt ) is acquitted from the cluthes of TADA but convicted under Arms Act/ any other Act , he should be entiltled to all usual procedures relating to Appeal /bail etc.which are applicable to other convicts under Arms Act who are not compelled to Appeal to Apex Court but can Appeal before High Court.Hence, here is a lacuna which needs to be addressed.
