Whilst I like Sanjay Dutt for his acting I think the judge preciding over this case needs to be congratulated on the way he has senteneced the guilty. Its good that the court brought the guilty to justice. I hope that the judges are equally severe and sincere in awarding sentences when it comes to our Indian politicians. Otherwise it would be unfair to apply one law to Sanjay Dutt and his co accused and another law to Politicians found guilty in any case.
Isn't such punishments given so that the criminal can repent at what he's done and become a better person? Does a person really stay the same 13 years later?
Well done Mr. Kode. It is very difficult to deliver such judgement but you have proved that a person can do the things honestly without afraiding.
Today, in India everybody wants to do crime and then later wants to create sympathy and want to enjoy special previlage. All the politician of Congress, BJP, RJD & others must b sentenced like this for ruining the country for their position and power. They want to do the crime but then not ready to face the consequences of it. In future it may happen that some political party may build a act to grant reservation for certain community to protect against law eventhough they have done serious offence / crime in the country. They will become hero in their community.
