I am shocked and aghast that people are defending Sanjay Dutt. Not only a pistol and AK-47, he also had grenades in his house. People are confusing reel life with real life. Indians will sell their very souls for Bollywood. Hats of to Kode and Nikam for taking on the high and mighty. Let's not forget that in 2002 Sanjay Dutt had spoken to Chotta Shakeel (yes, people have forgotten). So what good behaviour? Kode got him on every count. If you had a family member who lost his life in the blast you would not be singing this criminal ways.
It is obvious that Sanjay Dutt is not a criminal and he did have any intension of harming anyone. As such Sanjay Dutt is a nice person also and heart fells heavy when we think that our munnabhai will be in prison for 6 long years. But law is law and offense has to be punished. It is a lesson for those high profile celebrities who have contacts of underworld criminals. There could be many more who have much more connections with under world and all of them need to be identified and punished. Our rogue politicians should be the first ones to be hung. In any case our heart goes with Sanjubaba.
Sanjay Dutt was always a spoilt brat and his present condition is a result of bad up bringing. He is suffering for what his parents failed to do -- that is, to rein him in when required. If you have followed Sunjay's life for the last 20 years or more and really examine facts, you realise that Sunil Dutt and Nargis were great actors or even good human beings, but as parents, they were abject failures

I guess it wasn't upbringing...it was his mother's death that made him weak and led towards drugs...and that resulted in bad companies.....I wish he didnt do this...

Why when a terrorist like Afjal Guru can go to president why not Sanjay dutt.
If Indian governement wants to really punish culprits then do they have guts to drag Dawood n Tiger from pakistan n hang them in public. They dont.So they r punishing people with supporting role and showing that they have done a great job.

are you trying to say that the supporting these crimes is no offence? And the supporter can only charged after the main accused get nabed? This is fulish.we as a indian should not be thinking like this,we should expect all the peoples should get charged who are accused.

Forget it! They don't have the guts to demolish the illegal constructions in Mumbai owned by these goons.

i agree
Iam writing this considering sanju as a common man not celebrity :-
Though it was a good judgement but most people are not happy with that since " This man has really repented for all the mistakes he has done in the past so he might have been forgiven and given a chance " These words are also in BIBLE .

sorry ravikumar, Sanjay Dutt got away lightly and undeservedly. For similar offence in the same case, others have got much more sever punishment. Sanjay Dutt was a spoiled brat hobnobbing with anti national and criminal elements. He deserved much more punishment.

Tommorrow Dawood ibrahim will also repent for what he has done for years. Can we forgive him? Don't get dragged into emotions. I think this is great verdict.
