Some fight for religion, some fight for country some fight for money etc.... Till each of us dont learn to love each other and care for the person as yourself evil things will keep happening
No one is perfect in this world As humans we are prone to committing mistakes But unlike most people Sanjay Dutt has realised this already & has made efforts to become a better person.
When a person who has shown the courage to admit he was wrong is imprisoned for 6 years it is a blow to society. There are many people who get away with murder but no because Sanju is a celeb the courts decide to use him as a law mascot.
What was his crime? well he stored weapons to protect his family, He happened to know a few criminals. We meet so many people from all wals of life all the time & if we happen to meet a criminal does that make us a criminal?
Yes our duty as humans demands that we do not support such people but who knows how terrified he must have been when in their presence.
Sanjay was in the wrong place at the wrong time & I strongly feel that the courts should reduce his sentence as he has suffered alot already If he hadn't would a grown man of his age & stature cry?
I am not a huge Sanjay fan but I was in tears when I heard the news & I am still in a numb state of shock as it all seems so filmi, I hope he has courage to get through this traumatic stage of life.
Sanju our prayers are with you & your family & with all the Victims & families who were & still are affected by the 1993 bombay blasts.
The very first thought that we passes our minds once we hear this judgement is that, 'oh! poor soul Sanjay!'. 'coz, he has been our dearest film star who showed the real humanity in his film series 'Munnabhai'. It is to be noted that he has got changed a lot since his '93 crime. That we should really appreciate. Whatever be the reason behind his committing crime of having dangerous weapons illegally or so, after all it is crime in the eyes of law. It is, ofcourse, good to hear that law has done its duty perfectly and proved that no particular individuals are near and dear to the law and every one is equal in this democratic country. I would say this is a good sign, infact. But, May I raise the question that why is this law failing to do the same justice and give similar verdicts in the case of politicians whose hobby all the time is playing foul games (I'm sorry, did I use the wrong word "Hobby" instead of "Main Occupation" ?). Is this the failure of law or the people ? hmmm... Though provoking judgement, right? Think over it, because, may be you would get some solution for this challenge (isn't it a challenge?) I wish, Sanjay Dutt wont lose his courage and live life without any tensions as he already has so many. I would like to compliment all who shared their views on this issue, and please who ever has concern over the situation in our country, please keep doing something on your part. I wish you all the best.

This is again kittu, There some minor mistakes or mistyped letters are there in my message, so please bear with my mistakes.
His new movie is coming.. Munna chale Central Jail lol.. well getting back to topic
1) He had links with underworld. 2) He had illegal weapons. 3) He was a drug addict.
to say it straight and simple.. he was a bad guy.. so he is getting his punishment for what he did then! 6 years will go pretty soon. Movies are different than real life.. in movies he might be an innocent munna bhai.. but in real life he has played khalnayak!! so he deserves it..
its a thing of sorrow to put him in jail. In India it self you will find thousends of criminals who are moving around freely. A man who ploted Genocide in Gujrat is holding the position of chief minister and no body is rising finger on him and on other hand a Man who only possessed Weapon and never commited any crime with those Weapon is bihind the bars. Who do so many nobel work, so many charities. No one is seeing this. No one is seeing whether this gantel man ever caused any harm to anyone or not.
Ever anyone listen about any politician who went into jail. What BJP leaders did they Were behind the Dimolishen of Babri Masjid and because of that incident how many innocent people died and how many suffered. and still suffering.
Here I am asking single thing why this double standerd in judicial system.
Sujeel has hit the nail on the head. LK Advani and his rath yatra which culminated in the Babri masjid incident, is singularly responsible for fomenting communal hatred in India in the last two decades. This led to the Mumbai riots, the bomb blasts, Gujarat riots, more Mumbai blasts, 11 July train blasts and many more such incidents elsewhere. Top Shiv Sainiks were indicted in the Justice Srikrishna Commission report but they have got away scot free. The less said about Gujarat state, the better. Today's news reports that the Supreme Court has directed some petitioners to file a detailed affidavit about the Maharashtra govt failure to prosecute the accused in the Mumbai riots, and that thereupon the apex court could intervene as it did in the Best Bakery case. This is good news no doubt, but it is a crying shame that the intervention of the apex court is required at every stage to ensure justice, albeit belated.
sanjay dutt may be the first congressi terrorist to be convicted formally. we know congress a lot congressi politicians are terror-friendly and a lot of terrorists are congress voters. needless to say that congress will try very hard to get sanjay back home and send the judge to a new home (aka "transfer") by abusing its power.
the english media is once again showing it is terror sympathizer when it runs all sorts stories on how painful it is on the terrorist and his family, thus preparing groundwork for sanjay's release. it is time for pres bush to kick all indian english mediamen and women out of usa as they are not against terror.

On this terrorist? Which terrorist are you referring to? Who decided he is a terrorist in first place?
How strange it%u2019s that not a top politician get a sentence like what Sanjay Dutt got. The whole issue of Sanjay Dutt acquiring weapons and keeping with him was a result of the cycle of riots and violence ignited by the Hindutva politicians by demolishing centuries old Babri Masjid in which I lost my cousin; this lead to serial Bombay blasts followed by the worst communal violence again unleashed by this Saffron brigade in Bombay. Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced for having AK-47 presumably a weapon of %u2018mass destruction%u2019, but what about politicians like Advani, Joshi, Uma Bharati, Kalyan Singh,Sarpotdar,Bal Thakrey etc who have already done severe mass destruction why are they free and enjoying? They are the root cause of that cycle of violence and grave mass destruction from December 6, 1998 to the end of 1993 and they have much more destructive weapons of mass destruction than a mere Ak-47. Why they are let off and why innocent people like Sanjay Dutt are being targeted?
