Good Judgement !!!
by Bogi Chako on Jul 31, 2007 01:48 PM  Permalink

Hats-off to the Indian Judicial system...
It would have been a big blow and a black spot on the judicial system, had the judgement gone the other way. Sanjay Dutt deserves this.

Now I am waiting for Salman to be behind bars for this act of drunken driving & killing innocent people.

Sanjay Dutt sentenced for 6 years in jail
by aditi ravi on Jul 31, 2007 01:48 PM  Permalink

Yes he was carrying a AK 56 deadly weapon , intent for illegal act not a toy gun. The law of the Land must be above every thing. The judge did his duty and a small lesson for all those who feel law of the land can be tuned to their favour. The judge did a fine job

Lokmanya Tilak and Dutt
by Sunder Raj on Jul 31, 2007 01:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is no comparison between COW and Cow dung.

Tilak sentenced for 6 years in Mandle jail. His crime was he was freedom fighter and his Nationalist views.

Our %u201Chero%u201D also sentenced for six year. His crime fall under anti-national activities.

Still our Indian people will prefer to adore the wall of their room with Dutt's photo.
What to say?

Tomorrow is Tilak's death anniversary. no one will remember him , only talk will be of this%u201D hero" and his "heroic" deeds.

We Indians require lot of Introspection, which we never do.

No doubt Sanjay is a good artist. but he is not above the law which is made for all of us. if the same allegation would have found with a common man then he may also have ruled as same. so we should thank the judiciary system and respect the rule. after 6 years sanju may act again as munna bhai. god bless him.

Before saying such things - do care to think about the families affected by the BOMB BLAST - then this ACTOR business will not be worth considering ! Atleast, JUSTICE PREVAILED ! And - I am great fan of Sanjay Dutt - will wait for 5 - 6 yrs more for his next MUNNABHAI Film - WAIT FOR HIM - BYE - Saraswathy V.

Wild Justice
by CVLN SOMAYAJULU on Jul 31, 2007 01:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

though it appears a 'wild Justice', Sanjay is not above law. if someone gets hurt due to Sanjay's sentence, what about the 12 people who got capital punishment???

This is something that is unheard in India considering his fame and political connections.
