if they count day & night seperately...
then he should have sentenced at least for 20 years...6 years is nothing...

This kind of people should be hanged using their power and money.

Had he not been such a high profile chap, the sentence would not have invoked such huge amount of sympathy.

He was guilty no doubt. But still I feel sorry for him.

Sanjay Dutt Sentenced
by samit shrivastava on Jul 31, 2007 01:54 PM  Permalink

It is a good decision for the masses. This is a positive change because a rich, influential and politically sound person now would be behind the bars.
Hats off to Justice Kode who gave this landmark verdict.
This is a red letter day for India.
Judiciary has become savior of democracy where politicians and bureaucrats have destroyed everything.
Equally appreciable is print and electronic media for presenting the truth before public.

In a nutshell, decisions like this are vital for country as it increase our faith in democracy.

BY PUTTING SANJAY DUTT BEHIND BARS OUR COURT HAS PASSED ON CLEAR MESSAGE TO OFFENDERS OF LAW THAT JUSTICE IS STILL DONE...FURTHER ALL PEOPLE AFFECTED BY BLAST WOULD BE HAPPY TO SEE THERE CULPRIT IN JAIL.SALUTE TO JUDGE FOR NOT COMING UNDER PRESSURE.

sajay verdict
by rajeev kulshrestha on Jul 31, 2007 01:53 PM  Permalink

It is good that Sanjay Dutt got punnishment at last.but in this bomb blast case not a single

poltician got in trap

As a common person it is hard to understand that there was no poltician involved in this directly or indirectly

Jo hath mein aaya woh gaya....
it was easy for indian police to arrest Sanjay Dutt so the law punished him, but what about Dawood? Police has no guts to catch dawood...
Bloddy indian police..... [suck it]

Gunjan...the other way of thinking is that, Dawood is an outsider (or residing outside India)...but that does not mean that our own people like Sanjay should get involved in terrorism and kissing of common people, our own kith and kin.....
unless our own (Indians residing in India) support, Dawood like goons cannot do anything with us...so are we also not part of the goondaism and terrorism...
at least, in this case, most of them involved directly or indirectly got punished by the first court... now let us see, how many courts handles the same case...we have upper courts, supreme court, pratibha court etc.
