sanjay dutt verdict
by V K Nair on Jul 31, 2007 01:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The verdict must serve as an eye-opener to the mighty & powerfull section of society who think that they can do any nasty things and get away with their money/political clouts.

He should be charged under TADA. This is just not fair. Can anyone keep AK56 for self defence. It is kept only for offence. Money power & Political power has been used to the maximum. Anyhow God will take care to see that he is duly punished.

May OK
by Santosh L Sharma on Jul 31, 2007 01:59 PM  Permalink

I agree that there are some criminals roaming around, never get convicted. But that doesnot mean court can let Sanju off. I pity him. But case reached a point where if they leave him the entire judicial system would be under question. And evidence were against him that's he got stuck. Judge saved judiciary faith. Otherwise we don't need law and order.

Minister: remember JMM cheif and central coal minister serving life sentence in Jharkhand. There are no special previledges to ministers and celebrity. Crime is Crime

Then no one gets punished. If you do not punish him, he might change or might not change. But if you punish him, many will change. Got it.

no one will cahnge if he gets punished mate . All im saying is that he has seved an under trial of 16 months and he has learnt his lesson . so there is no question of him not gettin punished . but he has changed coz its been 15 yrs and thats enuf to prove that he has changed . and taking about others changing . no one is bothere about wat happens to others. as long as they get away from justice they will do it whether sanjay dutt gets justice or not

this is not fair

SANJAY DUTT SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHED, ONLY FOR JUST KEEPING ARMS. A LOT OF POLITICIANS ARE KEEPING SUCH KIND OF THINGS. First u must think why he keeped and why such kind of things happened , why it happened ? blast in mumbai / why u are not giving punishment to those who created such kind of things in 1993,
U must hang first who ....... demolished babri masjid , and killed 2000 thousand muslim , and all balst happened after that only , just think and punished all those , politician first.

good decision, an example that no one wil be forgiven for the crimes committed. no caste matters, no religion matters, no status matters when it comes to justice.

ah..at least the insiders are punished
by Chanakya on Jul 31, 2007 01:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the other way of thinking is that, Dawood is an outsider (or residing outside India)...but that does not mean that our own people like Sanjay should get involved in terrorism and kissing of common people, our own kith and kin.....

unless our own (Indians residing in India) support, Dawood like goons cannot do anything with us...so are we also not part of the goondaism and terrorism...

at least, in this case, most of them involved directly or indirectly got punished by the first court... now let us see, how many courts handles the same case...we have upper courts, supreme court, pratibha court etc.

Good Verdict
by Janeshwer Prasad on Jul 31, 2007 01:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is the verdict what comman man of india was expecting. This has prooved that In law, every one are euqal. No one is above Law. Sanju baba had done somethinh wrong and he deserves to get 6 years imprisonment. But at the same time, Indian Law keeer should also look in to the mattaer of other sacm like Fodder Sacm, coal tar scam, tehlaka etc where too many politicians are involved.
