Long live Kode
by nara simha on Jul 31, 2007 02:39 PM  Permalink

There are many criminals, each of whose family wants them released before the convicted period.

He is a fine actor who almost succeded in making everybody believe that his dealing with terrorists was not a serious matter.

If he had continued his old ways with terror groups, may be he would have got drawn into some of the recent riots.

Long live KODE & his ilk.

I have a really too much sympathy with Sanjay Dutt. He has really changed too much now a days.

But for every action there is an equal & opposite reaction. Its all depend on his past and he got prison.

Lets pray for him

One feels sorry fo Sanjay Dutt, as no one would seriously contemplate him as a terrorist. But Ignorance of the Law does not mean that the law can be broken.

Six years is a bit harsh, though.

Forget about police role. First, appreciate the verdict pronounced by the Court. Long Live Indian Judiciary.

A Little Less than Perfect
by Serious_999 on Jul 31, 2007 02:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

He should have been in for more number of years. People will now have some faith in the judiciary. Dilip kumar is out and out supporting Sanjay Dutt.. wish his wife or someone close to him had been a victim of the blasts... its very simple to take a friends side. And anyway... who is he except a good actor (both Sanjay Dutt and Dilip kumar). When people who have money help terroists exploit the country and kill the innocent... such people should under no circumstances be left scott free. They should be hanged till they die

Mr. sanijay did crime but there was a realization and after 14 yrs. of his period he never made or was involved . As a man he is out from this criminal act. presently he is loyal to the country. I hope to bear and reduce his punishment. If he would have involved further like others it means he is a criminal but here no way. Let one to come in the right track

Mr. Rakesh,

Very true that Mr. Sanjay Dutt was not involved in any criminal activity for last 14 yrs but neither was anybody from rest of the accused. It's really not fare on part of rest of the accused ppl tht Mr. Sanjay Dutt would escape any harsh punishment just bcoz he has potrayed some gud characters in the Hindi Moview. He was intelligent and mature enuf to differentiate between wats wrong and wats correct (toy gun and an AK47). He deserves the sentence he got.
Given that he is from an affluent family background he should have stayed away from these anti social activities before hand.

He must be punished for the crime he committed during Mumbai Blast. And the punishment pronounced is not harsh at all. It is an apt verdict. One has to pay for the mistake one does. By taking your theory, every terrorist would commit a crime and then becomes a loyal to his country just to get leninecy from court.
