keeping guns is legal there. but if they had similar rules in USA, and the actor had been caught with arms say during 9/11, the story there too would have been the same.
A bit harsh - i would have expected him to get a RI for 3 years, and then the Probation should have been applied. Here the Juge Kode has outrightly rejected his plea for probation - I think the Supreme Court shall take a more lenient view on the same grounds.
I wish Sanjay all the best - He is a reformed man & the law should give him the chance to live harmoniuosly in the society
Its obviously sad to hear the sentence but guess that he has paid the price of being a celebrity.What he did was wrong no doubt but after already been in jail and with so much at stake the punishment could have been lighter.

Indian justice is true justice.... he has done wronge and he must be treated like any other person. NATIONAL SECURITY is of most importance..

It did work!, so many people now think he was a good man who went wring in sometime in life. Its better than being thought of as a bad cunning man who twists the law.
