he hs been found guilty of purchase. maybe he is not a terrorist, but dealt with arms dealers and bought hi-end weapons, oestensibly for his family security..thats no reason for acitizen resrting to arms, esp, since he had 1-2 guns with license. so he bought it for a 'kick'..well, he shd be charged and punishded....sorry fior his BABA abd MUNNA acts

i request the writers of the Rediffmail news section to keep us updated every hour about the fate of sanjay dutt... please be the first one to give us the detail as soon as he is sentenced... thanks abhishek
Sanjubaba is cool entertainer. He has amazing family background. He has basic human instincts of protecting himself and his family when they were visibaly threatened. I sincerely feel he should have end to his hardships. Regarding Indian laws and justice system I sincerely hope I should not be knowingly or unknowingly be entangled in it. Law is one where criminal mind hesitates to do any crime. While in India tell me a single case in media where justice is seen been done

That means according to u everybody in india should keep AK47 or AK56, Every one get threatend some time in life from antisocial element. An u r saying he is innocent how can person be innocent who have cloe ferindship with gangstars.
Yes... Sanju should be in jail for the crime that he has committed. This will serve as a deterrent to others who play with the law and try to escape the consequences of their criminal actions.... Also, the faith of the common man in the judiciary might also be restored upto a certain extent... There is no doubt that Sanju is really sorry for what he has done and he has done many a good things after that; but as the saying goes "Crime never pays"....
So now, almost all those involved directly or indirectly involved in the bomb blasts have been sentenced...But, there is one more question... will the government act on the findings of the Srikrishna Commission Report? Does it have the guts to prosecute the Devils who were involved in the killings of scores of people from the minority community? Can India really prove that it is a secular country? Will there be justice for the oppressed people????
All the people involved in the murders of innocent muslims are roaming scot-free... when will those rascals and wild beasts in human forms be brought to justice???? any answers????

Why the hell are u dragging muslims and minority into this..? Sanjay should get 10 yrs. ppl like u are not scholars but rascals
I agree with you on all the points, except the point where in you say, "Sanjay is out only because he paid Shivsena"; But, in what way paying to Shivsena will influence the TADA judge who granted him bail?
In the process of arguing "no one, however big he/she may be, should be treated more equal than others", let us not suspect the credentials/integrity of the TADA judge who is doing his job exceptionally well, without getting influenced by anything other than fair trial.
But friend, how about the suffering, for these 13 years, of the victims of the Mumbai blasts, who have lost their husbands/wives/daughters/sons/fathers/mothers? Should their suffering be un-compensated for? At least with the perpetrators of the crime getting furnished, they get a sort of solace that the guilty are punished.
The law of the land has to take its own course on every one, however so big they may be. The basic of our (Indian) criminal justice system is: 'Let 100 culprits escape, not a single innocent must be punished'. At the same time, "Not a single culprit must escape the cudgels of law, even after he/she is proved guilty. It is the responsibility of the system to punish the guilty and thereby to honour the sentiments of the victims.
