I believe in peace-I love & respect all religions whether it is hindus-muslims-christians-all communities have good as well as bad people-not to target one particular commmunity or religion-but the fact is if we dont have parties like shiv sena-VHP-RSS-Bajrang Dal or BJP then India would become afghanistan-pakistan-or any suffering muslim nation-only due to fear of these above parties-India is going very smoothly or else there wuld have been murders and insecurity everywhere though as an hindu I dont support any of these parties-but stil we are compelled to which is a fact. Now for eg.in gujarat-I dont think any non-hindus wil burn train or raise their head because they know there head wil be chopped off. We can control moderates not extremists-so for them such parties are required in India.

Dear Unni your argument suffers from serious errors in logic and assumption.
Your reasoning that the presence of parties like Shiv Sena and BJP is what keeps India sane from Islamic fanatics is erroneous.
If that was the case how would you explain India's existence before these parties. Or for that matter during numerous invasions by Muslim armies and for that matter a solid 200-year rule by the British. According to you theory India should have turned into Islamic nation and later a Christian nation due to recent British rule. None of them happened. India retains its integrating character as ever.
The fact is Shiv Sena and the BJP do not add up in the final count of what makes India. They are mere reactionary political entities. They are parties formed by opportunist politicians who hijack emotive issues to ride to power.
If BJP is serious on what it professes, it could roll the uniform civil code from day one it forms the government with help of alliances and sacrifice power and go to people. The reason they will never do it is because their priority lie in grabbing and keeping power as much as they can as any other party there is. You might give some thought over this.

It is not TRUE. They want to roll the uniform civil code, but they do not have majority and alliance parties may not support it.
A volunter group should emerge and try to convince Congress, and along with BJP support, get uniform civil code in place.

Yes, absolutely. The Delhi mobs - consisting of Hindu and Muslim Congress party supporters must be severely punished for sure. So should all the Sikh terrorists in Punjab who used to drag Hindus out of buses and shoot them. Or those who used to kidnap and torture Hindus in Punjab in the early 1980s should also be punished. What about the Sikh soldiers who deserted the Indian Army and started shooting civilians? They were pardoned, when they should have been court martialed! All the guilty must be punished no matter what religion they belong to. No one should be above the law.
An analysis of the list of criminals involved shows the major role, right from planning to execution of the blast, was carried out by a particular class of people,whom the Govt is favoring because of their vote bank. Hello guys: Justice delivered after 14long years; but did it serve the best? NO. Root causes and direct persons who were involved in that 1993 blast were let off. But the main culprits were already let off and they are enjoying their life in abroad. Trust my words, India could never bring down Dawood Ibrahim & other underworld dons to the justice and punish them bcoz many (from cops to ministers) are indirectly getting benifited from underword dons like Dawood Ibrahim. I am a devoted Hindu but I am deadly against ShivSena and LKAdhvani; ShivSena has totally deviated from it's basic principles for which it was formed; now, it's just like another political outfit just using 'Hindu Religion' as a tool for their advantage; LKAdhvani, the main culprit person bcoz of whom all the hindu-muslim problems were aggrevated; when LKA started BJP in mid 80s, the party had good visions but starting 90s it also gone to the mud; when VPSingh was PM, LKA started Rathyathra which was totally unnecessary; then, he lead from the front in demolishing a building of other religion WHICH WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE bcoz it's none of his own property to do whatever he wants; what right did he has to lead other people only to demolish some other's property? Will we allow some person to demolish our property? Does it make any sense of demolishing the building bcoz somebody destroyed our buildings before 400 years? With these kind of politicians & corrupted people, hindu-muslim clash will never stop.

dont know where u were during the riots, i was 14 and i saw it all in front of me. your comments are really funny- never engineered only reacted to riots with great force- and muslim crowds' how many muslims stay in mumbai in the total crowd? areas were put on curfew and all ends seales so that muslim areas were cut off from all supplies and than truck loads of shiv seniks!! who were shouting victory to shiv sena came in chopped kids and everyone and than went back. i am not tryin to say hindus were bad and muslims were bad etc. even some muslim mullahs were shouting slogans to attack and kill from the mosque and the same evening he was on television along with other religious leaders pleading for peace. details to back my comments- shiv sena shaka gol deval mullah- shouting from phool gali masjid ,name- maulana kashmiri. i agree with the lessons learnt u have mentioned, also punish- narshimha rao, Up government- mumbai police, shiv sena leaders dawood etc are just plain excuses of all the politicians. educate grow and understand the politics. you will hear a lot of storied about the mumbai riots from all the people suffering.

Shiv Sena initially was anti South Indians, then become anti Muslim. This is their political compulsion. Now they become anti non-marathi and they support only marathi.
Shiv Sena doesn't represent Hindus. It's a pure regional outfit and must be punished by law only.

It has been well established that the Bombay Blast were an act of cause and effect. The riots of post babri masjid demolition and the manner in whch the shiv sena and the state machinery(Police) went on a rampage against the moslems lead to some moslems youth to take the path of jehad to avenge the riots. These people had not terrorist intentions but wanted revenge and were used by paki terrorists who saw an opportunity to strike at India. The judgemnet given by Judge Kode against these people are the best that could have ever happend as these peoples crimes are beyond forgiving. But the srikrishna report too should be implemented as loads of innocent moslems too were killed by the shiv sena and the police... The politicans are the greatest criminals in India followed by the police one of the most corrupt insensitive and inhumane killing machine in India.

Sir, this is how it happened: Babri Masjid was attacked in UP. THEN Muslims rioted in Mumbai by attacking Hindus. THEN Hindus retaliated violently. THEN Muslims exploded bombs. Yes, there is cause and effect. But what was the cause of Hindus attacking Babri Masjid? If you do cause and effect analysis, you have to draw the Start-line way, way back. You cannot draw it from 1990 at your convenience. You need to go a long way back... centuries back.

Sure. There is no end to root causes. But what is bothersome is people are always ready to preach to Hindus, but never to minorities. We are not honest and brave any more. If we are to be successful in promoting peace, we have to call a spade a spade. Somehow people forget that Hindus have sentiments and feelings too. Regarding the people who are available/ready to wage a war against India. How about telling THEM to forget bygones and tell them to live peacefully? Tell them to forget root causes and lead new lives. Will they like this advice?

It was treated as an 'expected' and 'understandable' reaction!! What crap! Stabbing Hindus in Mumbai for what happened in UP!! The attack on the Masjid was bad no doubt, but my point is Muslim reaction was termed as 'understandable'. But when Hindus hit back in Mumbai, they were classified as demons. Was their reaction not understandable?? I will say both the initial Muslim rioters and the Hindu retaliating rioters should be punished. Also the attackers of the Masjid. ps- Why were the Bangalore Muslims trying to blow up Glasgow airport and a nightclub in London? What was their 'root cause'?? Did Britain invade Bangalore which they were trying to avenge?
