By looking to the whole episode , Terrorism and crime is not a bad? the media hype , celebrity status, goverment job, politicians support, minister visit.. .....it is really encouraging to do so......
Dr. Haneef was accused for plotting against whites still when found innocent they happily supported him. So far there is no sign that Dr.Haneef is going to do harm in India but still thousands of Indians are showing their hatred and frustrations against him unnecessarily. This shows that in humanity and civilisation the whites are much much more superior than the narrow minded Indians.

Why Karntaka CM is giving preferential treatement to him and giving him Govt Job? If he loses his visa, it is his headache to fight and get the justice. I can understand Indian High commission supporting him as an Indian Citizen but showing him as someone who did something great etc., is too much.
There was no Govt Jobs for Mumbai blast victims, Engineer (hindu) killed in Afghanistan then why special treatment to him????

U are right. Every community has divisions. But minority (muslims, christians) have a centralized control in their religion (like pope, maulanas etc.,) which unite them to vote for a group en mass... Ok if there is too large a division, why don't politicians call Dalit muslims, FC Muslims etc., and ask votes from specific sections.
Ok. Do any politician ask vote specifically from Shia muslims by putting a shia candidate? During elections, did Media hightlight any caste factors among muslims for a candidate's winnability??
Hindus are socially divided for centuries and that is the main problem. Politicians have enlarged this divide further.

Ranjith, you are not aware of the facts in indian voting pattern. The muslims everywhere vote as a block and their vote is there for consolidated. The majority community never votes as a block and cannot provide a credible majority vote back. There are around 100 constituencies in india which has 25 or more % of muslim votes. In any election due to multicornered contest, a party can win by getting as low as 35% votes, of which the muslim block can give 25% itself. thats why politicians pamper them. The only vote back for hindus originated this time in UP where the brahmins voted as a block for BSP along with a solid dalit vote bank of mayawati. Please go through the facts.

i am not thinking anything blindly... look at the voting pattern in different elections.. if different muslims had voted for different parties, TDP would not have come out of NDA. SP would have had an alliance with BJP. The voting pattern is like that in whole of north india... i guess you are from south and have a distorted knowledge about muslims and their real faces.
