This is pathetic, when MLA's have to be taken in front of the President because Governor's can not be trusted to take a non-biased role in the matter. So the only way to keep them honest is to go straight to Rashtrapati Bhavan and alert the media. Are we living in the 13th century that such actions are necessary?
I doubt Manohar Parrikar government will last long...why? Because Churchhill is dreaming of the day he can become CM of Goa. Since Congress made way for Madhu Koda in Jharkhand, it has set an ugly precedent. They will need to give the CMship over to Alemao or even the independent. After Jharkhand, the small parties know what sort of advantage they can take.
b) A person who has been appointed as Prime Minister/Chief Minister can be re-elected as many time as he/she wants for this post. Juts look at Twisted mouth Sharad Pawar or VERY VERY OLD Jyoti Basu ruled Bengal from June 21, 1977 to November 6, 2000 until when he can't stand on his own..
c) Court proceedings are in Hinlish. Say GOOD BYE TO JUSTICE FOR A COMMON MAN ON THE ROAD. No wonder people are afraid of Courts. Nobody not even so called Hinglish speaking people understand court proceedings.
d) Police Commissioner is appointed by a Politician. No wonder the COUNTRY IS RULED BY GOONDAS..
f) Consitution of India arranged on the lines of Religion. So LONG INDIA. INDIA NEVER EXISTED before BRITISH who gather her for the first but Ambedkar and Co. seggregated it post Independence..
Just take a look at Doordarshan and watch all the Lok Sabha Politicians. They look all old having Brains in pre-independence era. They are still ruling 21'st Century India.
So just chil pill with you girl/friends. Do some occasional blogging and wait for some Super Hero Rajnikanth to fix your Constitution...

I think that it is clear why Snoia wanted Pratibha patil as President. A rubber stamp to help manipulate the system never allowing the opposition to win. Reminds me of Indira Gandhi during and after Emergency days.

What's wrong with you? Pratibha Patil was elected in a landslide win over Shekhawat. Even some BJP MLAs voted for Pratibha Patil after heeding to their party's call for conscious vote. Shiv Sena voted for her.
Pratibha Patil hasn't done anything yet and you are fearing that she is manipulating the system. The Governor of Goa has already asked the BJP leadership to prove its claim on the floor of the assembly house. Everything is constitutional.
I wonder what your problem with Sonia or Pratibha is.
This is GOA for you. My father once had a Goan boss who told him this joke: A goan was flying to Bombay from Goa carrying live crabs in his hand luggage!When his co-passenger on the flight saw this he cried out saying what if these crabs come out of the basket? The Goan replied dont worry friend these are Goan Crabs; when one reaches the top the other one will pull him down!! So thats the story of Goan Politics as well!My suggestion is call for Presidents Rule and holf fresh elections immediately. With this majority nobody can be in power for long unless they rotate the CM's post every month!!

Dont say petty matters. Without this there is no life in our democracy. Our people representatives follow the old Congress policies only to suit them.If BJP is speding money the Congress also is spending money to keep its folk in their group. What are the politicians fighting for! The people of Goa!!! You wish!!! They are there to take care of their families and them by making pots of money in the name of helping people. Is there anyone who is truly in love of the masses- not even one!. They come to you with folded hands to vote for them and then you are left high and dry. It is better no body votes for these tugs.We the people are to be blamed for this.We have made them what they are today, by giving our precious votes.
