I saw a lot of messages alleging Haneef as terrorist and evil. Australia govt with all its resources, couldnt get enough evidence to convict him. Lets stop hating someone because of his religion or ethnic origin. India, though has a huge illterate population and ridden with strict caste systems, has been internationally recognized as a tolerant and pluralist country. Shall we not let our country down.

Nice message. Even if Haneef was a terrorist, it does not mean muslims are terrorists. There are a few rotten apples in every crate.

What a wastage Indian Muslims are doing after all they are 2nd Largest muslim population in the planet. Most of the oil is muslim countries. They can do diplomacy with Middle east states & get more oil for our country, we severely loosing oil contracts. What a wastage of muslims in India, they could have guide to get more oil for the power hungry India. They have the weapon "muslims", using that they could have fetch more goodness in the form of oil contracts. I am sure some non-indian guys doesn't like my message.

All your criticism about Aussie police's handling of Haneef's case is valid. However, see how quickly they concluded the matter. In India, someone like Haneef would be rotting in the jail for at least a decade, if not more, before being released. Learn to see the silver lining with the dark clouds. If it wasn't for the efficient justice system in Australia, it would be much much worse. And would Indian govt or police publically apologize about their bad management of the case? Think about it. A suspect is a suspect but how soon justice is done either way is a real test of a good democarcy. So stop all the criticism of Australia and try to help cleanup indian law and politics. Jai Hind.

Glad for Dr. Haneef that he is proven innocent. Also the Indian Govt. should take equal interest in the matter of all its citizens w/o regard to their vote bank fetching abilities.
And finally the media should stop focusing on this and let Dr. Haneef and his family have their privacy and normalcy back.
