govt is also responsible
by jujhar singh on Jul 26, 2007 01:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

not fully agreed. true that us and pakistan is behind kalisthan. but indian govt. is also responsible for this. look at chauhan if was a terrirest then way he freed from all charges. congress is responsible for this. Nirankari massacre in 1978 is main cause of terrorism in punjab for a decade.after that blue star and 84 anti sikh riot. isi and us used it against india by encouraged sikh for spreat state. centre govt always ignore sikh and crush them. the situation is again likh this dera row congress is behind all this. that's why the same demand of khalisthan has rised again. and these so called leader who were terrist in past taking advantage of it. first stop to ignore sikh.

Kao's Assistant reopens closed Laisons with Militants Eighties...
by D goel on Jul 26, 2007 01:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

PKl. Afternoon, 11.40pm, Thursday, 26th july , 2007.
Well, the hindsights and historical revisionism cannot make things rosier , than what happened in those diabolical years in Punjab. New-Delhi and World's Cloak& Dagger sleuths that include , Pakis, Canadian, CIA and Europeans..
It is indeed a sordid tale of deception and treachery that even R& AW of Kaos and B. Raman's capabilities could do little to be less harmful to Indian Society , that killed Indiraji by her own Sikh guards on 31st Oct, 1984, or a little later the blowing up of Kanishka
on Mid-sea in Ireland killing over 300 indian passengers.Unfortunately , Carlyle is right , we indians learnt nothing from those horrifying times. Punjabi Politicians have continued to hobnob with late JS Chauhan ,till, he passed away recently, and the Panjab vidhan-Sabha passed a resoultion condoling the killer Ideologue's demise!D. Goel

What's your problem if an ex-govt official writes about his career? It's perfectly alright to do so as it gives people to know the behind the scenes happenings though belatedly.

ITS ONLY B'COS OF INDIRA GANDHI
by kama dev on Jul 26, 2007 01:48 PM  Permalink

All militancy in punjab was the handiwork of Indira gandhi as she was trying to put Akalis down by giving under cover support to Sant jarnail singh.
Cia or Isi,supported militancy in punjab b'cos of there interests as India was closer to the russia.
So its all dirty politics for which thousands innocent punjabis were killed by terrorists & security forces.

Congress created bhindarwale and that led to the mess. The author seems like a congress chamcha because he seems to paint Indira Gandhi in positive light.

I think every congress leader who was involved in Nov 1984 riots should be publicly hanged for the real hurt of the sikhs to be solved.

yes it is true . what India needs is "rang de basanti" at the individual level.

KPS gill takes credit but in reality it is ordinary sikh farmers and people who turned against militancy.

In fact sikh militancy would have never existed but for Indira Gandhi's stupidity and the even worse riots after her killing.

Yes, they can and they should, then only historical truths can be known. Official secrets act is not to keep secrets, its to keep the bureaucratic bunglings out of public eye. Have you ever heard about the BBC programme "YES MINISTER".

Take it easy!
Sensible readers take the unverifyiable claims not with a pinch but with a handful of salt! It might as much be true as much it's not! These kinds of claims happen all over the world such as Gohar Ayub Khan claiming that Field Marshal Manekshaw sold military secrets to Pakistan in 1965 war!

As in the US and elsewhere, I think we too should have a policy that one can reveal the secrets and classified documents after a certain period of time, if we do not have one already! Such a measure would prevent sensation seeking writers from making these kinds of statements.

However, I agree with your concern! There should some restrictions be applied on bureaucrats and also on ministers and other legislators from ever talking on senstive issues that concern national safety! Else, gullible people may believe that it was true much like the canard that was propaged that Nehru was responsible for our losing a part of Kashmir, which is non-sense.

Yes, I agree sensationalisation will be there in these sort of exposures, some claims will be unverifiable, author will say he was always right ( with retrospective effect) but still general public at the end will become a bit more wiser. So there is and always will be need for these sort of "exposure" literature.

See every moment AMERICA the best friend of Pakistan, try to cheat us.
They always try to create trouble in India.
We should avoid all american goods.

from where pakistan gets Arms, major comes from USA, and pakistan used them against us.
Usa sells fighters to Pakistan and Also sells new version of fighters to India. to create competition and we keep buying arms higher then sold to pakistan.
America makes money. We loose money.
Already govt. employee are eating, and this foreign countries.
God Please Save from all this Inner and Outer
