excuse me, Goan Gharon mein aisa nahi hota , Goans are cool and are family attached peoples with lot of love and affection, coming to politics Goan politics is much better than other states..there is no violence at least, still there is peace...in recent time there is big money game effecting politics in Goa..that too will not last long as majority population is well educated and they will learn lesson now..mark my words..things will be better in coming time.. ---Vijay FalDesai
Dear All, Goan politics is not worth spending time on by you all young people.Your energies must be devoted by getting all these sellers of our votes out of the Legislative Assembly. It is difficult but not impossible. For my generation who saw the last five years of the Portuguese and history of 400 years, I feel we were better as Union Territory Bhausaheb and Bab Jack Sequira and Purushottam Kakodkar
Democracy has become joke in goa. Due to very less MLAs even two or three MLAs defection matters. In such a circumstances no leader will be able to rule effectivly for Goans Wellbeing. I think there are only two options to resolve these crises. 1) make the Goa as Centrally ruled place as was earlier. 2)Merge the state with maharashtra. as such culture of both the states is same. language is same.

Because like every other ambitious person, Goa based politicians also wanted a red-light car and titles of minister and chief minister.
In fact a better suggestion would be to merge the entire Gomantak area from Raigarh or Sindhudurg in north to the dubious Mangalore down south famous for its people switching loyalty between Malayalam and Konkani depending on their benefits. That way, MLAs will increase and small scale defections will stop.

please tell me in what way it is ideal and best progressing? one of the highest per capita income? it comes from people who go to gulf, who are in ships and who are selling of their lands. apart from the rapers of the earth( miners) what does goa have? its premier hospital GMC is in shambles, advertising the general picture of healthcare in GOA. its education is archaic its transportation is pathetic, it cant grow its own vegetables, crops. it does not have any industry worth any name. all work relating to infrastructure, farming and industries have to be done by people from other states coz goans are too busy cavorting with foreigners having booze and sleeping on the beach. no wonder goans go out of the state in droves. yet the hypocrites that they are, they rant about the superiority of their race and state. what snobs...
The Bjp is upto its old tricks again. Horse trading, corruption, bigotry and anti-national activities. No respect for the people's verdict or for our country.
