Today my friends is 26th July. 8 years ago, on this day our Armed Forces won the peaks of Kargil. It's "Vijay Divas". Please just give a little time of your's and join this community on Orkut to pay your tributes! We can never forget the sacrifices of our soldiers! Lest we forget! Rediff has not one article on "Vijay Divas"! What can I say? But should we be an ungrateful nation? http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=36281427

Any Govt. comes or goes...it doesn't make any difference to the Happy go Lucky Goans. The rest of India is too much bothered about day to day problems....Stupids learn from Goans how to enjoy life
In 20 years of statehood of Goa, it has seen 15 CM a record or should we say a world record in its own term. Clear a small assembly with only 40 MLAs is the root cause of all these problem. The best possible solution for the betterment of Goa is to scrap the statehood and put back the UT status. Still better from financial point of view, Goa should be merged with Karnataka as this will reduce the unnecessary administrative cost for a state which has no political liking. The people of Goa are should be blame for misusing the democracy. They should have given a clear majority to one single party so that the criminals like BJP should have not use money power to purchase 3 MLAs just when a single MLA resign. The only solution is to impose President rule immediately and complet the formality to either merged with larger states like Karnataka, or to declare Goa a UT.

u r right. Goa should be merged with karnataka immediately and all MLAs be considered as karnataka MLAs. This will solve the problem.

We have seen the cetral government be toppled so does this mean we merge india with UK??
At least some of the MLAs of Goa assembly are going to be Millionaires overnight as Congress will try to reatain power by huge offerings to these MLAs and on the other side BJP trying to capture power by offering anything for MLAs to switch loyalty.
All the forty MLA will do their level best to form or save the Government because at stake is lot of money which has been pumped by the Delhi and Mumbai based builders in addition to the Russian who have converted Northern coastal villages as Mini Russia.
Secondly these forty MLA have spend a fortune in elections and there has to be returns.
Feel good factor, MY FOOT! India shining? My FOOT! It was 'Feel like an as...le' factor and 'India whining' factor. BJP is a party with no conviction, narrow-mindedness, and prejudiced views. Congress is also not exemplary, but way ahead and better than the Buddha Janata Party.

Today if you observe India was really shining that day. Congress said aam admi ko kya mila. Aam admi ko kya mila you are seeing with your own eyes.
1) Prices :- High prices of almost everything. We are experiencing hyper inflation. This is bad for economy. Food prices rose by 50 to 60 percent just in 2 years.
2) Housing :- Can you ever think of buying a house today. Leave alone house even to buy a flat it is mind boggling. Everything is in lacks.
The prices of basic necessities has jumped by leaps and bounds during congress regime. Just they are trumpeting about agriculture leaving industry to dogs. This is what is happening in Andhra Pradesh. The CM Mr YSR do not open mouth. He thinks that farmers are benefitted so let there by price increase. To suport 25 lac farmers he made 8 crore AP population BAKRA.
Finally for all these issues congress is silent and does not utter a single word.
I do not think that this is a news to highlight!! The government changes as weather in GOA. Every one in GOA wish to be CM so there should be a rule to change CM every month so that there will be stability and peopole in GOA and out side will not have to waste time in such routine news!!
yes--it is a closed door meeting--why?to save our NATION--utter nonsense--they been in a closed DOOR as a single WOMAN MLA made to go to TOILET every second---why?so that their SOILED CLOTHES(NON VISIBLE)do not get furher soiled by their-------(UNDERSTOOD).they have nothing to do for NATION--they r worried about their corrupted money and this WOMAN too need same very badly--after all it is a question of status of MLAs of NATION---lalit kumar
there are a few odd gentlement in the present day politics. But they are so very much consumed by this dirty parlamentary form of system that. Every tom dick and harry opens a party musters a few MLA's and blackmails the system. to change the present system is the biggerst challenge before every true Indian now. Presedential form has some of its own limitations, but by no fit of imagination can it do so much dameage and no good as the present system does. How do we go about changing the system is the question.
