At heart the Indian army is sympathetic with the Indian National Army. If Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose comes with the help of Russia neither Gandhiji nor the Congress will be able to reason with the country. Also Russia for propaganda purposes declares itself an Asiatic country then there is no hope of any European Alliance acceptable to India.
An "Independent" Indian Government (indirectly controlled by England to protect British interest and to keep India for England according to Lord Irwin) will baton, shoot down and imprison any Indian thereafter daring to disturb, endanger or threaten the economic interests of British capital (now along with U.S.A.) or of its junior partners the Indian capitalist,.....and will consider it high treason if the hungry peasants and workers should dare to revolt..... October 1931
B. Relevant portion of the Letter dated 22/07/1946 form Khurshed Naoroji (Grand daughter of Dadabhai Naoroji and then Secretary of Gandhi) to Louis Fischer.
Dear Fischer,
I enclose a copy of Gandhiji's letter, as desired by you. But please don't think that he is not with us..........All Congress and the nationalist minded people are one but our headache is the Indo-Anglo-Russians. The foreign Govt. has built them up to fight the Congress and will have to deal with them now. They are going underground and if before the time the Allies (excluding Russia), have a scrap with Soviet Russia, India is not satisfied with the results of the Constiuent Assembly.
"In her address shortly after taking oath as President, Patil described herself as the republic's "first servant" and said her sincere endeavour would be to live up to the high expectations of the people who elected her to the top post."
Is she going to serve Sonia and party ? People did not elect her directly. The people's representatives elected her, with much criticism from the public. If I were in her position I would be obliged to serve Sonia (and not the people). Isn't it the case ?

dear prabhat
why r u raising an irrelevant issue of who should b the next president? your leader sonia together with left and hard bargainer mayawati (in the bargain cbi was asked to go slow on charges against her and the governer was advised to refuse signing on the recommendation by the previous govt for investigation against mayawati) shuffled so many names like shi patil, pra mukherjee, a singh, k singh, mo la vora, su ku shinde, ni deshpande etc. during last few days of selection. and u want to select the next president now.
stop this nonsense. u dynasty sycophants cannot see anything wrong in the puppet president.

It will b Mr. Ansari if Congress is in power after 5 years...As after remaining VP for five years his name will be proposed for the president(In case he wins VP election)....if BJP is in power then it will be Najma Haptullah(And if she wins VP election then also her name will b proposed for next presidential election....No serving VP has ever lost the election except...Bhaiov Singh Sekhavat...So these are the likely choices...So forget about many great names buddy!
Manifesto of Indian National Congress (London Branch) 1931
THE BASIS OF THE SECOND R.T.C. (Round Table Conference) will become clear when we analyse a speech of the Ex-Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin partner to the Gandhi-Irwin pact, who, speaking on the 22nd of July in the Wesleyan Hall, Westminster, under the Chairmanship of his Grace the Archbishop of Canterbury, assured this audience numbering several thousand, on the following points:
1. That although India could not be kept by force, the indirect control and safegaurding of British interest in India would increase.
2. That British would not lose India.
3. That Mr. Gandhi had definitely given him to understand that he would not press the question of Independence and severence of British connection at the R.T.C. (Round Table).
This is the fundamental basis of the second R.T.C. and it will explain in an illuminating manner that British Imperialist policy towards India does not intend to change in the least its nature but only its tactics, changing the old mask for a new one to suit the altered circumstance, arisen out of a revolutionary situation which must be dissipated and diverted. This will also explain the various stage by which Gandhi and Indian National Congress have departed from their pledge given at Lahore to fight for "Complete Independence" as the "Immediate Goal" to end up by equal partnership with in the Empire.
We Indian are in such a poor state that we could not find any eligible PRESIDENT other than Mrs. PATIL. Why Mrs. PATIL what stature or quality she had to become a President of a country like INDIA. We are going back to Jail Sings era.
