It is very unfortunate that Congress has no regards towards Intellectuals at higher posts. They need rubber stamps. Hey citizens let's talk about direct election of President (by the people)

In fact I also strongly felt the same way when in the morning newspaper I read the news that first woman President----- shall be administered the oath by first SC Chief Justice. I do not understand what media gets in making such unwanted prefixes. This practice should be totally stopped.

For your information:
Mr. Kalam is not to be blamed for not approving death sentence of Afzal. As per the law, he had sent the file to the Delhi Government for its opinion (a Congress government, whose leader Mr Azad was against the sentence). From there the file reached Central Home Ministry (again a government headed by Congress).
So please do not blame Mr. Kalam for this. He is a great person. And the greatest President India ever had.

Further the file is still with the Central Home Ministry, headed by Mr. Shivraj Patil, a old Congressman and loyal to Madam Soniya.
