The BJP will respect Pratibha Patil as the new President, as in recognising the highest constitutional office. Leader of Opposition LK Advani himself signalled the end of a month-long campaign against her, saying, "The BJP considers the sanctity of the country's highest Constitutional office to be more important than the person who has been elected to occupy it."
The President has already started parotting the Congress party's agenda - socially inclusive and all that. By socially inclusive, what she means is to further marginalise the upper-castes, particularly Brahmins, and help children of people who have all these years risen to top ranks using reservations. It also means scrapping away with protective laws like the POTA so that the Indian state can breed more terrorists. The President, even in her first speech, has lived up to the low standards that were expected of her. The Congress has now the pawn they need to push their divisive agenda at the center.

Dinesh Bonda,
It's time you got your brain dissected.
Are you out of your freaking mind or just dont possess one?
Just because about 638116 elected representatives thought this Pooty Ba Pail to be suiable as our President doesn't mean that she is.
It just means that the rest of the thinking mass did not get an opportunity to be aptly represented.
Hope you joinrd Onkar Singh and the other sonia boot lickers wolloped the hundreds of kilograms of motichur ladoos brought (not bought, we noted) from Kaleva in Bhagat Singh Market.
Hai Rabba,
yeh Potty Bhar Patil ne Hamare armaano ke Kalam ke moti chur chur kar diye !!!

good idea..with next election congress and communist should be "0" seat level
had the NDA been wise...and stoppped fighting within, then things would have been fair. but due to cheap politics that prevails in out country we have today a sonia's puppet in chair
All that we can do is severely punish the Congress and Sonia for allotting the President's post to Pratibha. I know that many Congressmen are aghast at their high-command's mischief. Indians, bide your time and throw them out in the next elections.
everyone is posting their comments in here, how many of you can come out on the streets to support Dr.Kalam? the whole Nation wanted Dr.Kalam, but Sonia spat on our faces. and what are we doing? just posting hate messages over here?
today is the time and the chance to hit the streets and oppose this change. or else very soon Sonia will be the next Prime Minister selling our country to Italy.

You are a fool. she rejected the supreme post as per the criticizm on her Intalian born from the useless Uma Bharati, Sushma Swaraj etc. the jelous women of India. Wake up men..Kalam expressed his interest at the end stage only to continue his post.. till the time everything was finalized he did not open his mouth. We were in need of Kalam there.. but whatever happened is good. What is the problem when a lady become President of India. It is a history. All men who sat on that chair was doing what ?

It's paining to imagine this lady sitting in the seat of Mr.Kalam. Really bad time. Most of the Indians may feel this paining. No one fits in the shoes of Mr Kalam. Most disgusting to have such a rubber stamp President after the greatest man. :-(

what is wrong in my thought, prince of caliber? since u guys feel so affected and feel there is no alternative, isnt mine a logical suggestion.
Bad & Block Day for the Indian Politics. People president is out but the corupted president is on office. Please true Indains avoid the president Functions....
Hi Friends, PP is president choosen by SG. Even though I am a Maharashtrian, I feel ashamed to see PP as president of India. She is not at all our president. We have not choosed her. Instead she has been imposed on us for she is a slave of Khan-Nehru family. We deserve better president and there are thousands of great women in India to hold that post. We don't need PP like criminal for our precidency.. It's unfortunate day for self respected indians...

Agreed Ashish..More than Kalam or Prathibha, I am really worried about the trend and direction we are moving towards. Prathibha Patil represents political gimmicks, nepotism and inefficiency at its height where as Kalam represents wisdom, vision, intelligence and science. It is a great loss for the common man who think above all kinds of narrow ideologies.
