A Reason Required.....
by kiks on Jul 25, 2007 03:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I just want to know under what grounds has she been elected as a President? She does not have credentials as a good scholar nor as an highly intelectual politician who has brought about certain fundemental changes in the contemporary Indian scenario?.... I am suprised that Dr. APJ Kalam did not get a second term.... Shame on us the Indians... The Indian polititians are just pathetic and a disgrace to the Indian society...

I also agree that the post of President has been diluted by not allowing Dr. Kalam to continue for the second term.Dr. Kalam has been the people's president and this rare honour is the testimony of the acceptance of all Indian. But alas, the petty politics and keeping the office of the President under the influence of indivisual like that of the PMO has prevailed.I also pity for the bankrupt left parties.

Cannot change their mentality
by Sahadevan KK on Jul 25, 2007 03:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The BJP will respect Pratibha Patil as the new President, as in recognising the highest constitutional office. Leader of Opposition LK Advani himself signalled the end of a month-long campaign against her, saying, "The BJP considers the sanctity of the country's highest Constitutional office to be more important than the person who has been elected to occupy it."

Why did they do malicious and mudslinging allegations?

Why did Sangh Parivar show vulgarity in deleting my comments on rediff's message board.

Can Sangh Parivar retain their lost image?
