dear communist sahadevan how come comrades collegues of yours rape poor helpless women at nandigram and singur ( maybe thats what you and CPM CPI call womens empowerment). your party grabs land from the poor and helpless peasants and hands it over to the tatas and salems ( thats is poverty elimination as per CPM ) . shame on you and the CPM/CPI -- agents of the bourgeois. look at the choice of your party leaders karat and bardhan pratibha qualifcations includeg shielding her brother in murder case, brother siphoning of kargill war victim funds, she dishing out loans to her relatives from her bank founded on public money , pratibha using MP funds for the benifit of her own edcuational orgainstaions and trust, her husband abetting the sucide of a employee by withholding his salary inspite of a court order for the paymnet of the employeess salary dues. today communist and congress politcians infact has endorsed , dignified and rewarded ills like corruption, murder , expolitaion and nepotism by voting for pratibha enmasse. i am no shekwat supporter but indian definately deserved a better dignified non controversial president. The vote for pratibha can be seen as how low the values of the politicans whom india voted to power has fallen too.

Because he forgot that Congressmen lost their conscience in 1966 and left never had it.
The BJP will respect Pratibha Patil as the new President, as in recognising the highest constitutional office. Leader of Opposition LK Advani himself signalled the end of a month-long campaign against her, saying, "The BJP considers the sanctity of the country's highest Constitutional office to be more important than the person who has been elected to occupy it."
Why did they do malicious and mudslinging allegations?
Why did Sangh Parivar show vulgarity in deleting my comments on rediff's message board.

Congratulations to the new VP . Hope he will consider all the people in India as Minorities. Like the left and Congress respected Dr. Kalam BJP also will respect the first woman President.Left supported Patil and Congress supported Ansari. See that all the VP candidates are Muslims. Next time we will have only Muslim candidates for all the three posts President, PM and VP. Now we are the true secular people considering Muslim as the only minority. Hi ananta no problem. Let them read together. Salaman Rushdie got Vish Kanniyas for his artistic work. A worst person( name Muslim) who abuse Muslims and Islam is most respected person for the Non-Muslim Community. They lick him/her and provide all luxuries. Any body can write that will not harm to the greatness of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) More than one billion people ready to die for him, not exculsively to any particular place or people. All over the world without any differnece of color, cread, rich or poor. Do you have any historical figure to whom people love, die and give their precious life for her/him. The One and Only prophet Moahmmed (p.b.u.h.)

I have an alternate 'humble suggestion'. "Why not Afzal Guru as VP"?
Consider the number of points in favour of such a course of action.
First, India will be sending out a strong and unambiguous signal to the international community that we are a 'forgiving nation' and don't 'lose sleep' over minor infarctions like an attack on Parliament.After all 'its human to err and Divine to forgive'.Such a move would be in keeping with the E.U's advice to President Kalam on desisting from the capital punishment for Afzal.
Second,such a move will send our 'seculars',human rights activists, Leftists,Liberals et al into raptures of 'heavenly delights'. Third,it will give a strong fillup to our peace process with Pakistan as we'll be implicitly agreeing with M's past pronouncements that the 'Kashmiri Jihadis' are not 'terrorists' but 'Freedom Fighters'. What better way to honour Freedom Fighters?
Fourth,it'll help realise Afzal Jr's dream of becoming a doctor.Hopefully,the youngster will put the 'syringe' to better use as a doctor.
Lastly,and most important,it'll help our 'sleepless P.M. get some GOOD SLEEP'!!

Hi All, i urge you to take necessary steps to save india. I must say that some of the politicians have spoiled our image as a nation. Why there are no standards set (code of conduct) for politicians ? I don't favour any party but Congress is saying that VP should be Muslim and congress is saying that they are secular ? Pity. If VP is to be from minority (though there is no such rule) then why not somebody who is Christian/Sikh/Buddhist ? If person is good then he should become VP i am not against by then why Congress being so called secular saying that VP should be muslim ? Isn't congress more threating to India then any other political party ? Wake up people..forget about your love about some set of politicians, just love india. Select only good leaders irrespective of party.
