Unfortunately, due the comical system of Indian politics, the Citizens of India have nothing to do with the election of the FIRST CITIZEN. Truly comical.
Sonia Gandhis real name is Sonia Batliwala, as that was the real surname of Indira's husband Phiroze. The Batliwala family house in Colaba, Mumbai still exists, where relatives of Indira still live and can confirm this. They adopted the Gandhi name just to dupe the people of India.

Your contention that "Gandhi" title was adopted by Mrs.Indira Gandhi just to dupe the people is not fair. The title was given to her husband by Mahatma Gandhi. We should respect the sentiments of Gandhiji USMANYAM
