Those decisions were not on the President's hand. They were home ministry's ruled by the Congress party. Congress has not been able to rise above petty politics even today. And please do not compare APJ Abdul Kalam with anybody else. He is a human being that we should all try to emulate.
we are currently living in the country where on one side we talk about the technological and financial development and at the same time we have to accept a person as our president for whom we haven't heard anything. Even if we don't go into the issues of allegation raised on the newly elected president, don't you think that a better person of repute either in the field of science, finance like Mr.Amartyasen could have been promoted by Soniya Gandhi for the post of the president. Even Baba Ramdev could have been made the president of India for his efforts to popularise Indian Yoga all over the world.. So let us rethink...

Have a rethink on what you write first. Do you think you knows enough of everything you do, buy or eat.
One mans life is not enough to study everything around him/her. So we have to accept some things in life. I dont say that she is the perfect choice, but in this country with dirty politics and selfish politicians, this is what we ought to have.

Yes, KALAM Sir deserves a unique place in the list of Prez with his love , style of speech & thinking. He forced us to think indifferently upon President's power.
IN MY OPINION, THIS SEAT WILL BE FULFILLED BY A PERSON, WHOSE CHARACTER AND EVERYTHING IS VERY CLEAN AND NEAT. HOW CAN WE SOLUTE AND IMAGINE A PERSON WHO HAD A VERY CORRUPTED BACKGROUND.
