jai baba ki ( the dead guru !!) now we have gone from a rocket scientist president to one that talks to dead people !!!
So finally India has its first lady President! Congratulations to her, and to my countrymen for having a simple living woman deep-rooted in Indian culture become our next President!

I do not think so! Even if there were to be a public election, Kalam would perhaps still have only a small chance of winning. You do not know where the loyalty of the masses lie, so better not talk about it. Even the exit polls fail to give correct predictions of elections after so much research. Who are you to say who the countrymen would elect!
By the way, my congrats to the people are not for their votes, but for the reasons I mentioned in my post!

The people opposing her should not forget that she was the governer of BJP led Rajasthan .And how they accepted her then.All the allegations made were alive then also when she was ruling on an important post of governership....How BJP and gang accepted her ?
Jayalalitha ( can we call jayalalitha a lady.... ? ) said Pratibha Tai's candidature is biggest joke played with the country . She should not forget that she herslf is a fit example of Claunism as if she has emmerged from a circus....
The people sitting in LOK sabha shuld look into their careers and justify their own presence at the highest post they held in this democratic country....
There are burniong issues like KAshmir Issue , Bangladeshi immmegrants , Paksitan is sitting on our heads ,Health problems...Flooding every year in major parts of the country ...Water Scarcity ....Education / Health ...All these problems needs to be addressed on priority ..
Where as our Politicians are busy scratching each other ...whether Presidential elections or may be any elections / issues...

Get your emotions clear...on whose side are you. Shout Jai Maharastra when it is time to elect the governor for Maharastra ...Now its time to shout Jai Hind..if u r elated at this prospect.
You are in for a Big dissapointment if you think Pratiba is going to slove the Bangladeshi migrant problem and is going to order hanging of Afzal guru... We know that there arelot of corrupt people in teh parliment and legislatures and lets not celebrate the appointment of another to an august post... BJP may have accepted her for teh post of governor..it had no choice..there are a score and more governors in this country and half of them corrupt congressmen..we don't expect much from them.. But to have a corrupt President could be a first for this country...she is our first citizen you know..and i for one am not elated at the prospect of she representing my country... Keep celebrating for a few days and at the end of it you can tell me how many of the problems you enumerated she has solved.....
India has accepted all those coming from outside - whether it is Muslims, Christians, etc, and nothing have created much havoc in Indian history, but only minor ripples. Then why crying for the head of Sonia? What policy do you think she has, to make India slave of some outside countries? What is her drawback? Is that she was the wife of Rajiv Gandhi? Did any of these spitters protest against her marriage with Rajiv then? Then, many Indians are on power in many other countries. Will you make any statement against them to have such posts? Be a global Indian, not a narrow-minded person! And what has she done against the interest of the country? BJP were in power in Centre for 5 years. What they have done against the US arrogance? They only wagged for them.
