Dr. Kalam was a good President but he could have done more. He talked about internet and science but what the majority of Indian need is the basics "ROTI, KAPDA aur MAKKAN" and "FREE MEDICAL CARE".
The state medical care in most states are in a state of mess and the common people are fearful of the police. These needs to be corrected. Corruption has to be uprooted at grass root levels so that justice is there for all irrespective of their status, wealth and position.
Then only we INDIANS can see the GOLDEN AGE return to India. This is difficult but not an impossible dream. We as a nation should never stop dreaming.

I fully agree with your views. I am sure the day will arrive if we continue to support Mdm Sonia Gandhi and her Communist chamchas. Or perhaps Mr Rahul Gandhi will do it for us.
In any case, medical care in Government hospitals is supposed to be free. Can anyone discipline the doctors and staff? Only Mdm Sonia Gandhi can do so.

The President of India doesnt have as many powers as the Prime minister and the other unions ministers. If its abt roti, kapdaa and makaan and medical care what are the health minister and food minster doing abt it. Dr. Kalam has reached out to the people in a way no other president or leader did. Respect the fact dude.
