contras to marathis. but amchi mumbai marathi mumbai slogan is not correct. mumbai is for every indian. if you remeber, 90% development of mumbai (why, for most of maharastra), the contrbution of the outsiders is significant. and the fact is marathis are only for namesake. mumbai business is ruled by others!

No. The fact is apat from Mumbai business, the business in Madras, UP, & worldover is controlled by Marathi people.

My head goes downwards in shame as this is the first time in our history that so called accused (not guilty as per law ) person has been appointed as president . This means bloody Politicians have taken the last post which they havent done so far( Take the case of lalu , advani, modi , abu azmi,mayavati - means peoples from BJP ,congress , sena , sp , bsp all are involved in it from as they havent been proven guilty by supreme court !!!)
When will common peoples vote will count ..
When will bollody educated people will starting voting ...
To be very honest and making comments without being biased: It gives me feeling like Defeat of Democracy. 21st July will be remembered for me as most unfortunate day for Democratic Nation of India, as tainted and biased President will be saluted by brave, honest and most respected soldiers of our Nation. Its a shameful to watch Our new president to receiving honor on next 26th January. Its a big big drame being played against billions of citizens and its ridiculous that we are helpless and not able to do anything against that. As our rights, constitution and power of politicians is holding us back. Remembering old line again "SAU MAI SE AASI BAIMAN PAR PHIR BHI MERA BHARAT MAHAN" -- can you publish this !!!!! or you too included in list.
as much as im happy tht a woman has made it to the post..some things to ponder.. the president..a hindu..appointed by sonia.. the vice president..stipulated to be a muslim..again suggested by sonia.. the puppet prime minister..a sikh...again appointed by sonia.. and finally the all powerful sonia..a christian..
if u come to think abt it..shes purposely ensured tht all communities are represented keepin in tradition with the age old tradition of the congress party of community appeasement..but shes kept the most powerful post for herself..a christian whos come from a country tht doesnt have much of a history with india.. beware!the rise of the raj was just as inconspicuous but within yrs had its hands on our throat.. shame on us for having vested power to a lady bcoz she was the wife of a former prime minister.. if merit isnt shown in the choosing of our leaders..how can we expect them to respect it in our premier institutes??

that we should not ask. The reaction of Indians is atleast hope that there are people in intellectual group (u , me and many others like us) who are feeling dejected but are thinking right. Welcoming some external ruler is not correct reaction. Realising the weakness of our Indian desi ommunity and educating them and setting up of standards that we all cherish as the standards in front of nation will take some years. May be generation. But that is the only way. But being young, we want "instant" change. Atleast quick change. There is not quick fix to our country's malaises. Only slow and steady routes

How many votes amn?-very few!Note she was of Gujarati origin and so she might have got one or two from Gujarati dissidents.Again may be some rahjashthanis and maratis might have spilled some votes.So donot be euphoric about it!
Congrats indian...we are back to were we have started... Thats India is back to eurpoean hands and we indians are their puppets,... and here also we have the National congress thanks.. 60 yrs or more than that same congress ruiened our nation and their yet again.. Vijayan, may be millions of Indians are living abroad but most of the countries dont allow a foreign born person to be their president ,PM or even King maker. In India congie and stupid supporters of congie are licking the a** of Sonia the waitress because she was the wife of a Ganhdi, Other than being the wife of a Ganhdi what are her qualifications.? A person who can not read ,write properly any of Indian lanuages including english is ruling indians. What was her contribution to Indian society..?
