Accept the truth and pay her HONOUR, This is the question of your loyality towards country and faith in Democracy. Dont curse any person or party because all the parties including BJP and SHIV SENA in western state voted her. Once again it is clear that indiand do not give coutry as a first preference that always comes after region, language and religion. People always voted on personal frames not in the name of country, no where indians are unite in the name of country, anybody can divide them easily by oiling their emotions on personal cast creed, region and language, this is the only saddest thing coming out in this election.

Many many congratulation to Pratiba Patil. She has won the presidentship. Although there is no doubt that Sekhwat je stature was beyond compareable to prathiba patil. I do salute to sekhawat je for his outstanding fighting spirit.

I know she will wrong the notion of opponents and of urban clads.

All the best.

Madira Desuza

Congrats

First Lady President
by Srinjoy Saha on Jul 22, 2007 01:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Whatever anyone may say now, the writing is clearly on the wall. We are having our first lady president. She may not be a great or distinctive person, but she is a lady without a stigma. We have had many rubber stamp presidents in the past, so this would be nothing new.

What's new is the almost vociferous clamour, especially among urban youth, for an eminent personality to chair these honourable institutions.

Politics is the last refuge of the scoundrels, and repeated incidents in the past has only helped in sealing this opinion. The behaviour of MPs in parliament, as shown live on tv, does not differ from the mohalla hoodlums. What they would choose is a foregone conclusion. The pathetic situation in the politics of the country was manifest when no eminent personality was fielded for presidentship. It matters little when the choice is between the devil and the deep sea.

No matter what one may say, the situation will not change unless wrong people are stopped from representing us. To get a good president and a good government, good people need to be chosen. But, even in these times, is that a possibility?

Soni...kudee......knows.....some games but totally has forgotten female sex can play games beyond imagnation.

What is not understood....is that this she has character to stand despite knowing how painted she is in reality.

Congractulations....Pratibha .....I wish only that Rabri was Vice-President.
LaloooBhai are you listening .......Please do something wake up .....how come you did not make the move for Rabri's selection to Bice Bresidncy. Come on move...dont just move the railways.....do something .....Yaar.
