Its great to see that India has a woman as its President and a woman as a de facto PM, at a time when the so called developed and modern nations haven't elected a woman as its head of state yet.

You may not aware. Germany has Woman in the top position; Philippines has. But those are all well deserved persons to head their country. What kind of credentials does this woman Prathiba PAtil has to be President of India? Shame on INdia, This is the darkest day in the history of India.

Do not be too proud to have a women President. Only Asia has women leaders and 99% Asian countries are corrupt. West did not have a women as a leader but they are less corrupt. HA.HA.HA HOW IS IT???

A fake democracy
by Kumar on Jul 22, 2007 03:44 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Just because India holds elections every 5 years it doesn't qualifies to be a democracy. For a democracy, the politicians, judiciary and the police need to work for the common citizens. In India all these institutions work for the criminals or themselves.

When debate on giving freedom to INdia in the British parliament came in early 40s, Winston Churchill told "Indians still dont understand the real meaning of democrazy systema and Parliamentary functioning, it will take another 100 years for them to fully understand". These words are being proved 100% by our so called politicians. We(India) dont deserve to be a demoraczy/republic; what we need is a military rule or dictatorship rule to set the things in proper.

ezekielrage, you have a special responsibility to work towards the betterment of India since all the problems in India are derived from the existance of the caste system that was created by the Brahmans to fight Buddhism and hence make India a Hindu country so that they can live on welfare and charity without any sense of gratefulness to the other Indian people.

I see,Mr Kumar!

So, you mean to say that all other Indians except brahmins are not casteist? Are you aware that there is a vast hierarchy of castes within your "Other Indian People"?? When you have so much of dirt on your back, why point fingers at brahmins alone for the evils of caste?

Sania
by jackson on Jul 22, 2007 03:30 AM  Permalink

In 10 years from now I think Sania (Mirza) will have all the merits to become the President. I wish she becomes the President. This really makes a paradigm shift among world leaders in approching india and would bring lot of good things while she makes official visit to foreign countries. She would have earned enough in Tennis in the next 10 years. This is also empowering women and let us have a president who is young, dynamic and appealing.

Another Victory for Corruption...
by RamRamRam on Jul 22, 2007 03:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is a Shame for the country to elect a corrupt public servant to the highest post. She Started a Bank on her name and allowed her relatives to en cash poor peoples hard earned money. Another example how the corrupt and spineless shoe licking congress party men fell at the feet of an Italian Waitress. The Communist Party is another digrace to India. They have supported China when India was on War. What kind of Idiots these people are. It is total shame for India. It is a Sad and Black Day indeed.

Long Live Congress, Long Live corrupt Indian democracy.....

India is changing for worst. Younger generations are getting carried away by watching and hearing the western life style. Sex before marriage is becoming common in cities. Sleeping with more than 1 is not a Sin, Alcoholism is no more a sin. Living in Credit like the west become a common life style in Metros. Eating the Junk Food outside is a Fashion. Diabetic has increased by 50% in 25-35 age groups.

West is lesser corrupt has more comfort in Life style. West is now started looking for East to know the value of life. The proof for this is increase in their interest to learn the cultural values of India. On other hand...
India is corrupt, loosing its ethical and moral values. Unhealthy life style, lot of disease..

Now tell me is India is improving or going down....

This is a disgrace like all the other shit that happens in our country. Who could be better than Kalam, and we have taken this lying down like we do everything else in life in India.

Sonia knows the hypocrisy prevalent in this country only too well, hence all the pretension of self-sacrifice, a lollipop to our immature masses, and yet enjoying and using all the power without shame or compulsion. 35Brn
