India went back to Giani Zail singh era
by B N on Jul 22, 2007 10:07 AM  Permalink

It is pity that India went back to the era of former president Giani Zail singh, where decisions looks to have been made on allegiance to congress party and Indira Gandhi. Now it for the people of India to ponder on what strength Pratibha Patil has been supported by Congress party. Is it to have dummy president or to pass their ordinances. I do not see any strength or achievments of Pratibha Patil beyond this.

Overall, i believe Mr. Kalam refusal to continue has caused this pain to the country and he should ponder on this.

Country's Supreme Commander is Tainted
by Prasanta Majumdar on Jul 22, 2007 10:02 AM  Permalink

My country's supreme military commander is tainted. This will give credibility to military's
all the wrong doings such as rape, corruption etc. etc. If the first citizen is tainted others have the right scott free.

Dangerous Trend
by Raj Sulakhe on Jul 22, 2007 10:02 AM  Permalink

This is the worst moment in the independent Indian history, that in the name of women prez the congress party has brought rubber stamp for thier own benfit in future election. If this is the trend then we are moving to dangerous trend of dirty politics in which president of India was spared until now.

Buddy,

Next Gen wont hear you
They are busy...leading american lifestyle incorporated by our western bootlicking hindu bashing govt.

They would prefer to see gay bollywood actors stripped naked than the poll results on news channels.

They are least bothered, about who is ruling the country. As long as they are allowed to lead a licentious life.

The next gen needs a WHIP, not just a wake up call

HAVE SENSE MRS.PRATHIBHA AND RESIGN ON THE DAY 1 .. PLEASE
by supernova on Jul 22, 2007 09:51 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Wishing Mrs.Prathibha Patil? Who is she??? Sorry readers and friends... I DO NOT KNOW HER AND HENCE DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE HER PRESENCE AS THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA. I am sure that majority of literate Indians are in the same boat as I am.

A lady named Prathibha Patil came from nowhere and was forced upon this nation to satisfy the whims of the Congress Party and the Left. For God sake think of what every one gets at the end of life.. It is DEATH. We all DIE and we shd respect this fact and try to do something good while we live.. Let us not force negative prsonalitis on to the nation just to satisfy our vested interests.. CONGRESMEN!! Please wake up and do somethign from your bottom of ur heart.. When the life ends.. all the wrong doers have to regret for all those deceitful acts of his/hers.. so please...practice virtue..and value based living..

To Mrs. Prathibha Patil, My wishes are only to say that if she truely sia p[rincipled lady she should resign on the very first day of her taking the office as her realization of how inappropriate she is in this present post..

Lady, we shal salute you for this realization if you have one.

Thanks..

Time For Introspection
by sachin mahajan on Jul 22, 2007 09:51 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It's amazing to read 770 message on this news on Rediff Portal.

Instead of blaming each other and system as a whole it is better to Introspect.

What Indian youth is doing ? If anybody is serious to make INDIA a real superpower then by hook & crook force New President for making radical changes in constitution.

For Example :

1) Compulsory retirment age of 60 yrs for Politicans to run government.

2) Minimum qualification of Graduation for any Political positions.

3) 50 % reservation for Younger generation below age of 40 yrs for Parilament / Assemblies.

Another revolution is a must to bring India out of old age anarchy.

RSS is not a patriotic organization. It is anti-national, sectarian, and is fashioned after the anti-human ideologies that arisen and fallen in the mid-twentieth century Europe.

It is only hatred for other communities, vested interests in maintaining domination by some communities, and communalism (sectarianism) that drive a minority of misguided Indians towards RSS.
