I dont know whether this rediff writting is given at all any value to our govt and reach to the proper authority. But, careful about this N-deal..DOnt listen to this clever Americian east India company..They r a slow poisioning killer..Please for God's shake dont sell the country again after a 300 years battle of Independence...Please this is an appeal from mass to the leaders...

Why do you think the east india company made India suffer. You seem to be short sighted.
East india company freed India from the Islamic maniacs who mostly misused their religion and forced people to convert and destroy the temples and native culture and made India split in to 3 pieces.
I would say British though they had the negative aspect of slavery, but ultimately gave India its original shape of one big entity prior to which it was all ruled by individual rulers, who forced their culture on the natives.

Rightfully said. In otherway though Indians suffers during British rule, but it was a boon for long run. Otherwsie Mughal rule would have run for one more century and now we would have been ruled by some fanatic muslim ruler.

Actually Creative Deep ur history is flawed..at the time of British expansion there was practically no big Muslim power in India except for pockets in Bengal, Awadh & Deccan...most of India were under Mahrattas, Sikhs & Rajputs in a confederacy across west to as far as Khyber pass..if the Brits had not come India would hv been largely Hindu..the Mughals were gone right after the death of Aurangzeb in 1707 and reduced only to Delhi at best

why america and britain went to iraq.they should have used united nations.all countries together shall fight terrorism under u.n. umbrella.selfish interests are the root cause of todays problems.it is not too late.hold meeting of all nations and pour all type of resources to stop unrest in whole world.no invasion of other nations.problem relates to personal interests.

British killed more than one Billion people in India from 1757 to 1947. In 1943 about 5 million people were forced to starve to death in Bengal because their food stocks were confiscated by the British to feed British soldiers both in India and in the Middle East. East India company has forced Indian to cultivate opium and indigo destroying lands; cut off the hands of the weavers to promote their textile; stolen everything they can see.

If India does not fall in for this n deal it might have to fall into the al queida trap! So decide fast whether its going to be george bush or osama laden.
why do you have to depend on russia or america ? because the best scientists from india have left to america and the remaining mediocre local scientists have failed to deliver.
