Do not agree.. Educated people, working abroad in a developed country must be knowing the full implications of this - letting other use personal SIM Card - which is non-transferrable, if one do not know officially, he is not supposed to remain in these countries, if he do know he is culprit. Who was paying for the monthly charges/rentals of that card, was it remained unused, and to whom calls are made from that card and history of received calls on it, must also have been taken careoff before Doctor is caught. Why only one way ticket is purchased from Australia to India. Shortage of funds may be an official response but personally and privately it is assumed and presumed fact that on knowing the arrest of other in UK he might be trying to leave Australia for good. I don't know how many of you will agree.

i totally agree with you as a fellow citizen. is it a crime to talk to your own cousin? after this incident i think forget non-muslims not trusting muslims, even muslims will stop trusting each other and finally indians as a whole will stope trusting each other. another ploy to divide an already fragile world. hats off to you for calling yourself an Indian first because that's what I am too and I protest the callous handling of the Australian police of Dr.Haneef's case.

He may be innocent, but I dont think so.

in that yardtsick a bunch of indians abroad and in india support masked terrorist organizations (RSS,VHP, Bajrang Dal)who do the same as terrorits but in a different way and shrewdly escape from the clutches of law.
The indians abroad fund them in the beleif that it is going to be utilized for preserving the indian/Hindu culture. So all of them are masked terrorists who just hide with their hindu names
Imagine. There's a blast outside Indira gandhi Intl Airport, New Delhi. One of those arrested has a SIM card belonging to an Australian.
The first thing Australia would do is get their citizen to safety by packing him off to Australia and then say that Indian Police is making absesless charges.
And of course, our Govt. will just sit and watch, while a CBI team will go and come back empty handed, without even being allowed to meet the Aussie suspect.

Since you have called me one - here is my free prophecy for the day. The reason why everybody from Bangladesh to Zimbabwe shit on us Indians is partially because we Indians and government are shed more tears over about genocidal Iraqi dictators than Indian doctors.
An interesting legal question for everyone - If Haneef commited a crime it is in the UK - not Australia, and the man is an Indian citizen. Why is Australia trying him???

there is no evidence of hanfeen bieng join with any group there, suppose if you have given ur sim card of your friend or cousin, he found guilty in case, there is no point of arresting you.

Please tell us why Haneef was running away from Australia exactly at the same time of blast and that too with a one way ticket. You will no answers for this.
More than 3000 people died and millions are still suffering in Union Carbide disaster but not even a single responsible management official has been arrested so far and brought to justice. As they were American citizens. Now Australian agencies are manipulating the case and presenting distorting images about Dr. Haneef. The Justice is different for different nationals. This is really disgusting.
