People's President.....
by Anuranjan Mohnot on Jul 20, 2007 12:23 PM  Permalink

The entire India voted in favour of Mr. Kalam for his second term...but the cheap politics has selected a lady with so many controveriseies on her head as the next president of India....

I hope next term will be of Bablu Srivastav...since Dawood is out of India....

We are sure that Mr. Kalam will continue to inspire young Indian blood to grow as much as they can and find their true potential....

If possible make a organisation with people like Narayan Murty...and thousands others

regards
Anuranjan

Wishing you success
by Ramesh on Jul 20, 2007 12:21 PM  Permalink

Kalam sir...wish you all the success in your old role again.

We will not have a president like you again.
You have given and shown that presidential post is more than just a puppet in the govt's hand.
You have shown people that president is a person who 'can' and ought to be respected.

Unfortunately, the current drama surrounding the new presidential candidate is undoing all the good things you did to the post.
We still hope that we get a good president like you in future...

good luck...Adieu..

Probably after Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrisnan he was the best as president that India have.
An unblemished career as a president and various post he held, is coming to an end.

Kiran,

B'coz congressmen/ third rate Left / Joker Lalu / Fu..ker Pawar like Italian Wine & Women. Hence we cant elect our own President.Very Pity the 13th ( Unlucky ) President happens to be a Women; bringing shame to womenhood thru her past dubious political history.

I think your theory is not correct. From where will so much money come? Mdm Sonia Gandhi does not even own a car. And poor Ms Mayswati has collected only Rs 52 crores from her followers!

Shiv Sena
by kumar on Jul 20, 2007 11:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Is Shiv Sena voting for Pratibha because she is a Maharashtrian. This is way too common india. This is regional interest vs. national interest. Hopefully Shiv Sena is wiped out from the political map quickly.

Shiv Sena is an extremist organisation, a cult rather. They have fialed in all ways to represent the aspirations and sensibilities of the Hindus. They do not deserve in any way to be the part of mainstream politics. They indeed are the Indian Taliban. The recent attcks on helpless young people in cyber-cafes shows their absolute barbaric mental bent.
They will not be able to sustain in the ever changing modern world.
Any self-respecting Hindu will agree that imposing an ideology forcibly is against the basic essence of hinduism.
I used to have great faith in Shiv Sena once, travelling through all nooks and corners of Maharashtra, it looked once that they maybe able to restore Hindu honour, but they have displayed an alarming bent of hostility, petty-mindedness, and bigotery that its impossible to have any respect for them anymore.
I hope BJP formally breaks ties with them, that would be the only way it can think of coming into powrr in 2009.
