Wishing you happiness
by shiva on Jul 18, 2007 04:44 PM  Permalink

Dear President Kalam,

I can only visualise how you will feel at this time. You cannot speak out in words considering the onerous position that you occupy. Like many, you would be worried about the future of mankind. I always admired you for your simplicity and people responded to what you stand for, as if can read your mind. You are an open book.

You are a muslim, but in heart you belonged to all religions and beliefs. If all thought like you, we all will be in heaven. You know in your hearts, man is his worst enemy. You abhorred all forms of cruelty and is a shining example to all.

Great men come and their lives are an example how life has to be lived. At the end of the day, we all have to try to leave this world a better place. Unfortunately, some look for all avenues to hate and fight for unseen gods. What cannot be achieved by peaceful means cannot be achieved by hatred. People are ready to hate to get the bile out of their system. They know not how much happiness is in love.

Being a batchelor, the whole humanity is your family. Being a scientist, you have a curious mind. The love people feel from all walks of life may elevate you further to contribute for the well being of our beloved country, nay even the entire world.

I look forward to your enlightened words and may God further bless you to inspire all to enrich our minds and calm our soul for further journey.

You belong not only to India but to the entire world and to all times.

Farewell to a Great Humanbeing and President of India
by Ganapathy Janrdhanan on Jul 18, 2007 04:43 PM  Permalink

We are unlucky as a nation that the politicians of our country do not want a second term for an illustrious scholar like you.It is good that you are no longer in the midst of these people. They already have chosen a good dancer for this post.

Great Man of Country
by Smita Mote on Jul 18, 2007 04:35 PM  Permalink

Dear Sir,

There nothing realy happy feeling as u r leaving Rashtrapat Bhavan but again I can say that u hav got more freedom to walk on ur own prinicple to take country and countrymen ahead as there will be no political intervention in u and ur work to be done for country.

We are realy in living in such a country where there are people who are driving the country who dont have any sense of choice of perfect person for the perfect place.

Anyway.... we are sure that no one will be able to interrupt u now in what u would like to do for the better country.

Thanks and all the best for all your work :)

-Smita

Your farewell message
by Venkatesh P on Jul 18, 2007 04:17 PM  Permalink

Sir

We salute to you for being a great President of this great country.

My suggestion - Kindly address the nation on your farewell (I think all Presidents before have also done), but with a difference.

Kindly address the nation with a message on your vision for 2020 and explain a path for our politicians to follow. Let the address be frank, honest and to the point.

Thanks for being a People's President.

Venkatesh

I really dont have words to express myself on this occassion. The Rashtrapati Bhavan will lose a great President. You have been impartial and correct on many occasions.

I personnaly feel you should have serves another term.

APJ ABDUL KALAM;
by Rajesh Vyas on Jul 18, 2007 03:59 PM  Permalink

Sir: please explain the signing of proclamation imposing the PRESIDENT's RULE in Bihar while you were in Moscow and NITISH had the majority. You did not give him a chance to prove his majority on the floor of the house.

Why did you not wait till return to India? What was the hurry? Why were you overawed by Laloo, Sonia and Manmohan.

Why did you sign the controversial office for Profit bill in its original form? Why did you not resign then?

Tell us honestly, Mr. President, did you not fall in love with the comforts of RASHTRAPATHI BHAVAN and all the perquisites that went with its occupancy? Were you any difeerent from the others except that you were unmarried and all others before you were!!!!!

Answer the above with your hand on your heart i.e. very honestly
