President Kalam is the most knowledgable president we ever had & i think the only one who flew fighter jet.He wanted to take india to new heights but hats off to our politications,who never gave him a chance to continue as president.But still he has earned a very good reputaion for country as well himself also. Wish we have more presidents like him only & not like Ms.Pratibha Patil ,who is already a contraversial candidate.
I will be greatly relieved by the evening of 24th when Sir Kalam vacates the Presidential Chair and gets released from the constitutional jail where he was undergoing punishment for some unknown sin he might have committed. Somewhere in Mahabharata I have heard that Yudhishtira (the eldest one of Pandava) who was known for his sincerety and truthfullness, was made to say a sentence as 'Aswathama Hatah Kunjiraha' by saying Aswathama and Kunjiraha loudly and Hatah softly, which made Dronacharya drop his bow and arrow, thinking that his son Aswathama is no more.... While an elephant by the name of Aswathama was killed for such an announcement by Yudhishtira to make Dhronacharya believe, the Same Yudhishtira was made to see the hell, while others had to enter the hell to cleanse their sins. Likewise, this poor president also had to spent 5 years together with all those dreaded, mindless, corrupt, cheats, decoits and unworthy politicians and gets freedom again from 25th. Welcome Sir to the open world where you will have dignity, respect, love, affection, and freedom to pursue your ambitions...
Thanks for the obliging to be the head of our state- but then we the people wanted you to be there till the end of time- but our so called electe members don't listen to us. Thanks for all the good work. You gave the post dignity after a long time. Wishing you all the best for future endevours. I am sure the scientist in you will bring new laurels to our country. One last word - Had there been a general election for president, no body could have challenged you. That simply means even after the end of your tenure, you still remain the president of the large majority of Indians in our heart. Thank you very much indeed.
president is leaving dirty politics so good for him but as a nation we need him and many more qualified person like him in active politics. i would love to see him in active politics. god may grace him with long long long life.Manoj

It is a pity that most eligible people have been prevented from becoming the President of India.Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was not only a people's president but the most erudite,caring,sensible and simple President we have ever had.It is a pity that his appointment needs the blessing of the political class who care the least about our great country & its prestige.I pray to God almighty that he blesses our president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam good health so that he work for our nation.
