Rediff has insulted the presidents before Kalam by calling him as the best president. There is no doubt that he is one of the best scientist in India. He was famous before he became president and it was just that fame which made his position noticed. Other than that can anybody point out a single extraordinary decission which he took as a president. We had a president called K.R.Narayanan before him. He is the only president who refused to sign on the cabinet's decission to dismis a state government. that too he did it twice and proved the political parties that the President is not a rubber stamp, which they can misuse for their political gains.

Sir, there is no dispute in Kr Narayanan being a good president,but if see that 700 people have resonded with a 99% appreciation there must be something. ALso Dr Kalam is the first to reject a bill passed in the parliament which is a much tougher stance as it has the support of Lok sabha and rajya sabha. pls let everyone express their views as well. Am sure they mean no harm or malice to our his predecessors.

Yes... i am a keralite but i am first an Indian and then a mallu!! and my favourite political leader is not any mallu... its Indira Gandhi. My favourite actor is not mammooty... its Kamala hasan. My favourite dish is not masala dosa... its pav bhaji. Dude... I called K.R.Narayan the best based on the facts and he was Indian president for 10 years!!!

Sir, you have won heart of the people of India and people want you as presdient for long period. Unfortunately the thing which commn man of India can understand is not being understood by the selfish and nonvisionary politicians of India.
