Stand up for an innocent Indian
by on Jul 18, 2007 07:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

My Dear Indian friends, I have a strong conviction that Muslims in India are by large the source of trouble in the country. Check our police records and you will know what I mean.

HOWEVER, when it comes to a foreign country, let us understand that we have to forget our internal differences and support a fellow INDIAN in this hour of need. (I say this inspite of the fact that I know an Indian Muslim identifies himself as a Muslim first and as an Indian later).

I have traveled around the world. I have seen other societies from very close quarters. For Americans or Australians or the British etc, it does not matter if we are Hindu or Muslims. For them, we all are from third world and we all are trouble creators (terrorists) from their perspective. For them we all are the same. They do not want to know what differences and issues we have among us or even with Pakistan. (Some Americans even think Pakistan is a part of India.) We Muslims or Hindus or Indians or Pakistanis are one and the same for them. I wonder why and how, our Indian government goes running to these western countries to convey why and how Pakistan is epicenter of terrorism. For them, there is no Pakistan, there is no India. The consider us all the same....we are terrorists in their eyes.

So under these circumstances, for we all Indians, it is in our interest and it is also a matter of our self esteem and pride that we support our fellow Indian who has been intentionally and deliberately put into this situation

wrong time....on the other hand any sensible person should disassociate with religion of peace.
but clubbing themselves with losing side is an old trait of us indians. we have chose the losing side in cold war. our government was hugging saddam husain while rest of world was read to beat the crap out of Iraq for aggression on Quwait.

Now, let us make a hat trick.

by rachita bholowalia on Jul 18, 2007 05:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

yes--if Saddam was hung--our muslims protested, burnt public property, tortured public; if Iran leader Khomeini was in trouble our country burnt,if Lal Masjid in trouble we r in trouble and SO ON......hundreds of examples BUT WHEN MUSLIMS KILL EACH OTHER IN ALL PARTS OF WORLD.....they enjoy it as a MARTYRDOM and elders including ladies do join their pious war of killing each other.well keep on though these killings r not going to reduce yr population in the world----SIMPLY 1000 killed BUT 100000 already taken birth---see wars of Chechnya, Slovak,Ujhbekistan etc.---lalitkumar

Cannot happen in India
by Veeresh Srivastava on Jul 18, 2007 05:20 PM  Permalink

I bet it cannot happen in India, the world's largest democracy very often criticised for not punishing the guilty. Lending a SIM card or being a cousin of a terrorist are not crimes and he was leaving Australia in a hurry since he knew his cousin was involved in UK and he would be targeted. He was damn right.

they r not like our police--ALWAYS finding excuses and ways to ensure that rape murder did not happen in their THANA limits, then kicking away dead body in river, railway lines etc so that media do not blame police that it happened in their area---our judiciary too encourage such acts--RESULT---CRIMINAL ALWAYS SAVED--here no dispute of THANA limits in the case of HANEEF and u see result--lalit kumar

If we say anything about muslim terrorist. Suddenly our fellow brothers also pinpoint on us as Naxalites as Hindu terrorist and LTTE as Hindu terrorst. But LTTE founder is Christian. And Naxals are Communist and maoist.

They are the most silent religious group fighting the Indian government today. Killing the poor Bihari laboureres for doing their jobs. Today biggest problem for India are these groups. 26 in all by one estimate. If you dont Like India Leave for Nepal.

I dont think its a crime but when your SIM card is with a person who is involved in the terrorist attacks, then you are in problem. But if you convince the authorities (abroad and not in India) that you dont have any connection with them and factually that is what they find in their investigation you are free.
