Hello, I was born in Pakistan (please don't start abusing just yet). I was born a Muslim, but I consider myself a humanist...if there is such a thing. Not all Pakistani's are fanatics, most are common folks working hard and putting up with a lot of crap to make ends meet. Politics is a very dirty business and one cannot distinguish between lies and the truth, so I will not comment on that. But i know one thing for sure, when someone explodes a bomb in Bombay or Karachi or Islamabad, it is always the common bystander that gets killed. It is very painful to see any common person get killed. I think common people should stick together and shun all religious/political powers because I think a patriot is someone who protects his/her state from the government of the day. Sorry if i offended anyone. Take care.

Hi,

That made a lot of sense, and I agree with everything you say. By my previous statement (see below), what I was trying to say was not that all Pakistanis are criminals (not in the least).

In fact, I am not peeved with Pakistanis at all. My gripe - if any - is with Indian Muslims, who seem to go silent whenever any of their co-religionists - irrespective of nationality - does anything. This includes even abusing their country of birth.

@hate retards

they are not "indian muslims" but "muslim Indian's" as they rate their relgion first than their mother land ..so 'muslim indians' will be the apt naming terminology.

lesson for Mr. Musharaf
by Danendra Jain on Jul 18, 2007 06:10 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

USA supported Pakistan from the beginning. Ever in his fight against terrorism Mr. Bush of USA used Pakistan and treated the country as partner in his project. But none in India believed Mr. Bush and condemned him for his dual role. Now after the action of army in Lal Masjid I think at least a few of his antagonists will realize that due to relentless efforts of Mr. Bush Mr. Musharaf has been changed. As a matter of fact it is his pressure that the action in Lal Masjid became possible.
Pakistan government was hitherto utilizing and playing with ISI and its sponsored/promoted numerous terrorist organisations. They entered into agreement with Talibanis to have peace in Pakistan (and to allow disturbance in neighboring countries, or enemy countries identified by Bin Laden or his groups)
Now the same militant organizations or terror groups are threatening Pakistan Government of retaliation against action of Government in Lal Masjid.
Same thing had happened to Smt Indira Gandhi in India when she first promoted Bhinderwale in Punjab and indirectly promoted his militancy for her own vested interest.
Later on the Bhinderwale became too strong to be controlled or used by her. Militancy grew in Golden Amritsar Temple and became unmanageable.
Lastly late Gandhi had to permit Army to enter into pious place of worship and conduct operation Blue star to flush out terrorists from pious place of Punjabis. As a consequence there was huge repercussions and many threats were given to the

It was China who ordered Musharraf to act against Lal Masjid. How can Musharraf deny his father? He had to act even against the wishes of ISI. It is not a secret that ISI had linked with Lal Masjid. PAKISTAN IS A TERRORIST STATE.

Shut up. There was no order. It was to cement an alliance with Abu Bakr. Ayesha was 9 years old , which is not unusual in those times.
It is said that she continued with her childhood long after marriage.

Brother here means fellow Muslim !!
Rest are faulty translations.

I think that's the crux of the problem with Islam. Hindu philosophy is so diverse and dynamic, that it keeps evolving with times. Caste system, sati etc were bad practices attributed to hinduism. But majority of hindus don't support them. At worst (or best), they say it was misunderstood or hinduism doesn't preach it. But they are fairly unanimous that things like sati and caste based discrimination are bad.

Islam starts with Muhammad and Quran was right (whatever they did) without any justification and try to keep justifying every act Muammad did and try to keep following them.

Religion of the BOOKS are Religion of the books.
They are not supposed to be modified with evry print editions.

Islam, Christianity, Judaism all have beliefs which are well written for posterity.
Any Tom,Dick or Harry can't just come up and change holy scriptures.

Hey. There was a problem with paganism. That's why society evolved into so many religions - Judaism, Christianity, Islam. I don't know what were the reason , but yoyu can understand that mankind , GAVE UP ON PAGANISM 3000 years back !!

I don't think they are holy scriptures, mate. I think society evolves and rules have to change with times. The west developed only after the church was separated from the state. Islam failed to do so, and that makes Islam a danger to every other faith.
