RE:terrorism is synonomous with Islam - Dear muslims leave ISLAM.
by Saif Khan on Jul 17, 2007 03:21 PM  Permalink
Dear Mohamed Ismail,

Kindly read the answer of ur above curious question. May Allah/God guide u to the right way of Islam.

A. DOES ISLAM PROMOTE VIOLENCE?
Question:
Doesn%u2019t Islam promote violence, bloodshed and brutality since the Qur%u2019an says that Muslims should kill the kuffar where ever they find them?
Answer:
A few selected verses from the Qur%u2019an are often misquoted to perpetuate the myth that Islam promotes violence, and exhorts its followers to kill those outside the pale of Islam.
1. Verse from Surah Taubah
The following verse from Surah Taubah is very often quoted by critics of Islam, to show that Islam promotes violence, bloodshed and brutality:
"Kill the mushriqeen (pagans, polytheists, kuffar) where ever you find them."
[Al-Qur%u2019an 9:5]
2. Context of verse is during battlefield
Critics of Islam actually quote this verse out of context. In order to understand the context, we need to read from verse 1 of this surah. It says that there was a peace treaty between the Muslims and the Mushriqs (pagans) of Makkah. This treaty was violated by the Mushriqs of Makkah. A period of four months was given to the Mushriqs of Makkah to make amends. Otherwise war would be declared against them. Verse 5 of Surah Taubah says:
"But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish

dear Saif,
If the Quran is the scripture for all times, how is it that some scriptures refer to bygone events of the past. In that sense doesnt it resemble a book of history and may not be the word of God.

Now that he is famous, once he comes back he can join kangris party and become a minister.

then he can be made defence/home minister taking care of our Bharat..

may be who knows this is what going in not our Sania manio italy mind?

Now she has a weak Prez(read as prathibha) and weak MM Singh, who will sit when asked to sit and stand when asked to stand!!

Now haneef's political future is bright, I can see.... all this can happen only in our India. Jai Hind

I second this opinion. This will surely happen because it is India and we are under Congress rule.

The Whys?

I have my sympathies with Mrs.Firdous Haneef. Let us pray that Dr.Haneef come out clean. We as Indians have a vested interest in that.

But Mrs.Firdous should explain:

1) Why Dr.Haneef did not contact his cousins

who were involved in the failed attack in Glasgow for the last almost 1 year since his returning from UK?

2) Why did Dr.Haneef buy a 1 way ticket to India? Normally if it is a short visit with intention to return to work he should have bought a return ticket as well?

Mrs Haneef had responded to the second point stating that she and her daughter were to accompany Dr Haneef to Australia and hence they wanted to plan together after his arrival in India.

The first point is not clear. Will Mr Unnikrishnan rephrase it?

If I am in UK and if I go to Australia, I will not loose contact with my friends and relatives on reaching Australia, particularly my cousins in UK. Of course I will not contact them if I know that they are upto something nasty. In which case I will inform the authorities about the motives of my cousins.

Ms.Sumati Gayki

I have my sympathies for Mrs.Firdous. I know she is doing her bit to save her husband like any other Indian Nari. I appreciate that.

But she is not helping the cause of her husband by being vociferous like this. She is complicating things for Dr.Haneef by uttering things she would do well not to utter at all.

I assure you my wife may do the same thing only if I had no contact with Islamist bombers.

good one..

If he comes to India, I think our Indian govt (who knows may be manio italy, PM & Prez will welcome him @ airport)

Now that he has become a hero among indian muslims, they have to provide him govt job, 365/24/7 Z security, a 60*40 plot/house in bangalore by state/central govt.

Considering his acheivement, state/central govt will make him chairman for walkf board or inter religious harmony board, etc.,,,, all good things are waiting for him in India. Once he comes back he is no less than any b.hood stars
