Bilal is a typical Muslim who is trying to divert our attention to an event that happened around 90 years ago. I wont be surprised if Mr. Musharraf declares war against India now. Half of Pakistan is against him becoz of the Red Mosque operation Silence. In order to calm down these internal terrorists and unify Pakistan he will wage a war against India to divert attention of Pakistani citizens from Operation Silence.

I wish luck to Haneef if he has not done anything apart from just lending his sim card which was quite natural act. Anybody in his place would have done the same thing in case a cousin needing a sim card would have asked for one.

Haneef is innocent

Let the law take its own course, as our politicians are so fond of saying - at least Australian laws can't be slower than our Indian courts. And as to wifey dear saying "?ryone knows he's innocent", I'm sure even Jack the Ripper's mother or wife would have said the same thing. When you plot or belong to a family who plot to take other human lives, you have no business to cry "harassment" when caught

Dear Thanoon Surendran,

This Australian Police hold for 12 days with out any charges, still they are not able to find any thing related to terrorist attack, only one mistake he has done is he has given his sim card to his cousin, who is terroist. now i thing he would have learn the mistake.

if your brother has murder or done wrong thing, do u thing u & ur family are also involve in that case, u r really stupid guy. try to understand, why they have put a case against haneef, becoz they are holding this guy for 12 days, still they can't found any thing related to terror attack in UK. now it is great insult to Australian police and Prime Minister of Australian Mr.Howard ( Bull Dog). that why they have put some case against this innocent haneef.

i am a muslim and i am proud of indian.

i love india

bye

WEll said Ashraf. No innocent person should be tortured like that. At the same time we should try to isolate black sheeps(like so called jehadis) imerging out of our community otherwise every body will continue looking to indian/pakistani and other asian people with doubt.

Why the Comments Link is Disabled

Whats wrong with these rediff guys, any news related to terror plot they disable the write comment link on the pages. I can not understand the very purpose of it. If you say or do something your are bound to get responses to it may be positive or negative, why to shy away from it.

I was wondering about the same thing. Its a shame that they are worried about something and not let people voice their views. Rediff degrades the very spirit of free media by doing this.

Even I didn't understand, why they disable the messageboard on the pages related to the foiled terror plots. There are bound to be positive as well as negative comments. And this is the same media, that cries over Freedom of Expression.

While the politicians and the bureaucats take away the Freedom of Expression from the media folk.

Rediff is taking away the Freedom of Expression of the Citizens of India, the very people who made it so popular.
