Hughes Moore Hospital, UK
by hrishikesh jejurikar on Aug 02, 2007 02:01 AM  Permalink

Many thanks to Mr.TPS for this wonderful article!
There is a similar scam called Hughes Moore Medical Hospital in the UK. This guys gives info about "vacancies" in their hospital and when people apply, they cheat them by asking money for sponsoring work permit etc. I live in the UK and work in the healthcare, so I know for sure that there is no Hughes Moore Medical Hospital in the UK. If anybody gets any email from them, simply delete it. The mails are fake.

job offer with le meridien from such so called recruiting agencies of nigeria without interview!
by sankalp jha on Jul 31, 2007 08:24 PM  Permalink

Hi...Dear readers ..dis is sankalp jha from patna.i recently received an offer with le meridien group of hotels without any intterview. It happened so that i had posted my cv on times job.com.one fine eveng ,i got a mail in my inbox regarding requirement for job in hotel industry at nigeria from a recruiting agency.i just mailed my resume casually.Five days there after ,i received a mail from same agency that i have selected on contract basis for 1 year without interview. They also mailed me offer letter on Le Meridien's letter pad and contract document.they gave me details of person 2 b contacted in india thru mail along with number. When i contacted him on mail,he replied in affirmative about offer and asked me to put 1210 dollars as visa, immigration charges to be put in citi bank account in USA.I smelt some rat in it and asked my brother to meet the person personally at the mentioned address. To my utter dismay, there was no nigerian office there now as it was wound up from there 2 years back.I came to my conclusion immediately and chided him in my mail.Thereafter i m not getting any mail form him.I was lucky that i had my brother at delhi to verify credentials but every one is not that much.i therfore request all my fellow country men to beware of such mails.thanx
