It is ironic that the the Famous Hindu temple at Guruvayoor does cleansing ceremonies when local Indus come to give thanks ( stating the they had a Christian mother) but allows the Buddhist Sri Lankan president and his Christian born wife to give thanks and also allows the former prime minister Rani Wickremesinghe( who was also born a Christian ) to give thanks. It is ironic that these Sri Lankan leaders are coming to this famous Hindu Temple to give thanks to the Hindu god Krishna ( the protecter of HIndus and good) For his blessing to commit genocide and ethnnic cleansing of Tamil Hindus in Sri Lanka. Destroy Hindu Temples or to convert them to Buddhist places of worship . Harrass Tamil Brahmin priests. Especialay in Easter Sri Lanka and in the historic Hindu citu of Trincomalle. why the HIndus in India and the Krelalites are so anti Tamil so that this doen not matter . The Keralites have forgotten their very recent Tamil heritage and past . What a joke.

really why dont you red your history. Keral was the Tamil kingdom of Chera nadu . Malayalam only broke away from Tamil aroud the 13 th century and was recognised and started to be used in the royal courts form the 17 th century. Until that the court language was Tamil. Even now spoken Malyalam is form of Tamil. Lots of od and classicla Tamil word as are used. Your comments itself vindicate my earlier remarks. You may not liek it but you have a lot to do with Tamils and the Tamil culture.
The main problem with Hindus is that they are not proud of their religion as others. One Dalit leader (an idiot from all angles) who has all the privileges in India, goes to California schools and and induces them to change the school curriculum. The schools projected the greatness of the Hindu literature and culture. This jerk, gets this changed to refelect that Hinduism is bad and worst because of caste. Does this dirt bag leave his caste-of course not. In fact goes on rampage if he is classified as forward because this idiot is already a physician and his father probably is an IAS officer. For everything Brahmins are the targets without whom, these fellows have no culture, books, any social order or even independence from foreign rule. Unless they live in reality instead of imaginary past of discriminations which they want to correct by developing hatred for their own culture, Hindus will be discriminated.
I think the worst place for Hindus to live now is India. The Central and state Govts. in India are busy dividing the Hindus on caste and sub caste basis. All efforts are being done by the Govt. to undermine the culture and tradition of the Hindu community. The symbol of Hinduness is being ridiculed by all and sundry and when the Hindus raise an objection interested parties suppress it using psuedo-progressive slogans. While the rest of the world is cherishing its past and doing everying in its power to preserve and maintain the symbols of its glorious past, Indian Govt. looks at past symbols of Hinduism with contempt and also attempts to destroy them. The best example is the recent attempts to destroy the Ramar Setu.
The American body should include India as a potential place where Hinduism/Hindu symbols/Hindu values are in danger.

Hindus lack single point leadership today. Though we hv spiritual leaders who are fragmented there is no one like a pope whom we can look upto. Moreover the foremost enemies of Hindus are from within - the pseudo secular politicians. Hindu values have more respect from foreigners than in India.
As long as the family is disjointed, there is no hope.

True spiritual leaders cannot be fragmented. There's only one truth, whatever way you like to put it...The 'presentations' differ. Also, Hindus are ignorant of their history, religion and everything else and are running after the west...What can i say?

Dismissed judges's wife moves SC
New Delhi: The wiife of a dismissed state judge, who died shortly after his forced exit from the judiciary, moved the apex court on Monday questioning the manner in which he was given the pink slip.
A bench comprising chief justice K G Balakrisnan and justice R V Raveendran issued notice to the state government on the petition filed by Meena Vinod Prakash Singh wife of additional sessions judge V C Singh.
The judge was suspended on January 20,2006, pending enquiry for disciplinary proceedings. He was dismissed from service on October 31, 2006 DESPITE THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE OF THE BOMBAY HIGH COURT DISAGREEING WITH THE FINDINGS OF THE INQUIRY AND ITS RECOMMENDATIONS, the widow's counsel Ranjit Kumar argued.
He said the judge was innocent and there was not a single charge of corruption against him during his entire carreer as a judicial officer, the judge was shocked and died a fortnight after receiving the order.
Kumar said the widow was attempting to wipe the stigma attached to the name of her late husband, who was a upright judicial officer.

As far as Indian Govt. is concerned, it does not interfere in other countries' internal affairs. It is Govt. of India's policy. So, don't expect Indian .... will do anything to those living in other countries.

It is shocking to know about the life of Hindus in countries mentioned in the article. However, it is not really surprising, at least to me, because all the states or countries mentioned are decleared either officially or unofficially as religious (either Islam or Bhudha) states. So, it is natural that they do anything to the Hundus or for that mater to minorities that is available under the Sun. And, I don't think they ever enforce 'International Human Rights' on minority religions in their respective countries. I also don't think if India and Nepal govt. violate human rights on minority religions in India and Nepal, these countries will raise voice against it. Instead, they use it as an evidence and show to the world that we are treating minorities as minorities!!!! I guess, there is no solution to this at least at the moment OR I could not think of any solution!!!!!
