Indians are free now because the Brits, sucked all that was suckable from India and left it because there was nothing left. Having said that, Gandhiji was a really great person who deserves respect from everyone. Please do not degrade him like this. Please guys. He is not responsible for the Partition. Jinnah, who was a freedom fighter and beleived in secularism, when he seemed to be losing his importance went to mainland britain intending retirement from politics. He changed his idea and returned. When he returned, he started demanding Pakistan and got it. Kavi Iqbal who wrote the famous Saare Jahaan se Achchhaa, who also went to britain, when returned, joined the demand for pakistan and changed his song to Saare Jahna se Achchhaa, Pakistan hamaara. What is more. He even deleted the verses " mazhab nahin sikhaata aapas me bair rakhna, hindi hain hamvatan hain" . You all can see for yourself, who is responsible for creation of pakistan and the loss of Indus valley from India.

No. Young Ladies decimated in operation Silence...
by D goel on Jul 15, 2007 02:51 PM  Permalink

Pkl. Afternoon , 2.30pm, Sunday, 15th July 2007
Mr B. Raman 's remarks on LalMasjid's Wednesday's killings and clearance speak precisely that the General is looking for shortcuts , to gain the good opinion of his US patrons. It is no secret that Billions of Dollars have come to Paki-Military over last few yrs. as wages of being frontline ally of US operations against Alqaeda and Talibans in Afghanistan and elsewhere.Of course, Paki military and ISI sleuths are capable of perpetually drawing wool on the eyes of their US Patrons, who are weakly poised ,as reluctant to get tied to frustrating land battles with their own earlier sponsored "Ghazis" against Soviets attacks in Afghanistan. So, rightly Musharraf does several tight -rope strip-teases: depending the kind of Audience he is dissimulating on a specific occasion ,as enlightened Moderation gimmick, or Islamic commando playing the freedom -Fighter in Kashmir.like that he has several hats that he goes on changing like a well-practised Chameleon. But the thorny Mullas who indulge in rigid Islamic fanatical rabble rousing heat, when not taking the hapless women kept in their seminaries for subhuman rapes and cocubinage would be indulging in chest -beating on the death of Dukhtar -e- Qaum against Gen. Musharraf , in this Madrasseia at Lala-Masjid , A terrible Nemesis seems to await this Islamic Commando, ,now . D. Goel

lal masjid attack
by Thrinadh vasantavada on Jul 13, 2007 08:23 PM  Permalink

THE LAL MASJID ATTACK IS SIMILAR TO OPERATION BLUE STAR.THE SO CALLED OPERATION SILENCE IS NOTHING BUT AN ACTION OF DESPARATION BY MR. MUSHARAF IN ORDER TO DIVERT ATTENTION OF PUBLIC FROM THE UNREST DUE TO SACKING OFCHIEF JUSTICE.
aLL THE WHILE MR . MUSHARAF WAS ENCOURAGING TERRORISTS ,fundamentallists to keep his position safe.when he felt they are going out of control he has ordered for attack to tell america that he is fighting terrorisam and at homefront to divert public attention.
similarly indira ganhi also encouraged sant bindrenwala, a small time sant and made him a cult figure andthe moment saw situation getting out of control ordered operation bluestar.
every one the consequences and the will be with mr. musharaf also.

OPERATION BLUE STAR
by Narinder Bazura on Jul 11, 2007 06:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Operation SILENCE is similar to operation BLUE STAR in India. More these kinds of operations are need. Religous places are more valuraable for this kind of incident, Whether Majisd, temple or Gurudwara, all nonsence is done in these places.

I fully concur with what Narinder Bazura has stated. It is high time our enforcement agencies maintained a close watch on ALL places of religious worship. In a secular country like ours, there must be a coordinated effort to ensure that the secular character of our constitution is not violated by freakish, mad mullahs of any religion. S Rajendran

Mr B Raman.

Pak papers are full of editorials warning their Papi government over jihadi ties that the government said did not exist; and how the Papis must now relentlessly pursue the terrorists masquerading as "soldiers of Islam."

Please comment.

OPERATION silence is similar to operation BLUE STAR.in both the cases the elements of terrorwere encouraged by the governments of the day. but when they have gone out of control of their patrons hard decissions were takenas in case of golden temple and lal masjid.definetly
mr. musharaf will have to face the consequances
as mrs. indira gandhi has faced
This will be a lesson to all politicians around the world . no politician for any political advantage should encourage disruoptive elements.

Remember Operation TOPAC?
by san man on Jul 11, 2007 12:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In the aftermath of the 1984 events, Pakistan's military dictator General Mohammad Zia ul-Haq launched a very devious plot against India, which cost us many lives:

http://www.kashmir-information.com/Miscellaneous/OperationTopac.html

Let us beware of potential Pakistani treachery in going after India again.
When Pakistanis are winning: "Kill the Hindu dogs!"
When Pakistanis are losing: "Let's have peace. Let's be adults."
When Pakistanis are winning again: "Kill the Indian kafir scum!"

Lets not start the celebrations....
by adfasd asdasd on Jul 11, 2007 12:29 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Musharraf has flushed out terrorists from Lal Masjid to make his international standings more stronger and primarily to deflect attention from the ant-musharraf wave in pakistan.

This is not immediately a good news for India. The hardliners are definitely going to hit back, it all depends on whether Musharraf has got the will, support and luck (because i think the terrorits will now bay for his blood more than bush) to take this to its logical conclusion.

The problem is if Musharraf is toppled and Pakistan goes in the hands of terrorists, it will be bad news for India. You see a stable Pakistan is more beneficial to India than to Pakistan itself. So hold on the celebrations please.

Finally all the comments about Pakistan getting a taste of its own medicine is irrelevant.
